What is your suggestion? Ability to have 'Preferred Slayer Tasks'.  Maybe an unlock from Slayer Rewards for 2,000 Slayer Points which unlocks a list of 4-5 Slots which you could have preferred tasks. Maybe costing 100-150 Slayer points to add a task to that list.

 

Is this in OSRS? I don't know

 

Has this suggestion been accepted already? I couldn't find it on the Previously suggested post. 

 

How would this benefit Alora? Anyone under a Super Donator would be affected more so than Super+ (since we can cancel for no cost). I think it could be a good QoL update. Maybe you REALLY enjoy getting a certain task and prefer it so you could get that task more often instead of wasting your Slayer Points to cancel until you get a task that you enjoy.

even as a super it can get quite annoying canceling a bunch for certain tasks, having a preferred list would be greatly appreciated!

I support this, I'm pretty certain this is not in osrs, but rather in rs3 (got added before EoC tho). So all in all it's not congruent with Alora's only osrs content atmosphere, however I feel like runescape got a lot of QoL updates in the period between 07 and EoC which are generally overlooked.

I don't really enjoy the idea of this, that's kinda how the slayer task gets its name. Not from just knowing what task you're going to get and keeping the randomness. But it seems the others will so we'll see about this. Good luck

Would be nice to prefer tasks as opposed to constantly clicking cancel task as a super donator+ I support.

Even though I can cancel tasks for free as a super donor, it gets tiring skipping through several tasks (even up to 20) in a row just to get a task I prefer. Having a prefer list would be great as an unlockable, that way skips can be done less often. Non-donors and donors can definitely benefit more from this feature. RS3 has this for sure, and I wouldn’t mind seeing this on Alora.

Since super donor have unlimited skips already imma no support just skip till you get the task you want else its not gonna be slayer anymore but it will just be camping a certain task.

From my understanding on how the slayer prefer system works on RS2 was it just heightened the chance of receiving the task minimally,  not just a "here you are 10 abby demon tasks in a row" Kind of thing.  Should be helpful for all players having a list of 5 tasks you'd receive slightly more often then others. And Donators super+ just skip until a repeatable task anyway (like me) so it already is camping a certain task.

100% support this would be nice, It's not in osrs but it's in Runescape 3 alot of people have said they would like it in osrs but the jmods are not keen on the idea of people being able to prefer good xp tasks such as dust devils etc.

But on here i support this idea and think it would be nice as most people just skip tasks to get what they want anyway.

Just that it would be a little OP to select only the tasks you want to get.
Which is relevant to blocking tasks because it makes you more likely to get those “preferred tasks” you want, by blocking out ones you don’t.

If we had preferred tasks all the spots would be taken up, and wait times to complete tasks will go up in my opinion. No support.

I'd support making the tasks on a "preferred" list maybe twice as likely to get as a normal task. That way it isn't too OP with the super donors ability to have free skips, you'd just have a shorter amount of time skipping. You'd still have the randomness of getting different tasks...Also I'd say it should be Extreme+, because you already get so many great perks with the Super donor tier and that tier is kinda bare-bones right now.

This is the main reason that I wouldn't support this idea, in theory it could potentially be abused if a players RNG strikes and allows them to get their preferred tasks more often than not. That would cause increased wait times like Moe said and would be a pain to deal with.

I could get behind this idea if what Sass mentioned was implemented also. I think it should be a higher donor ability as Super donors already get free skips, and having another ability to select preferred tasks could be a tad OP.  As long as it could be done with some limitations that couldn't be abused, I would support this idea.

Hm, I didn't think about that. I see where you're coming from.

I agree that it could be made an Extreme+ perk. I didn't think of the increased wait times that Moe mentioned previously. With the majority of the Donors on Alora being Regular or Super I don't think being Extreme+ perk would affect wait times as some of us are worried about.
