What is your suggestion?: Automatically kick a player offline if they X log while NOT in the wilderness.

 

Is this in OSRS?: No.

 

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No.

 

How would this benefit Alora?: Disconnecting and dying, or the client randomly closing seems to be an issue, giving players the option to click X on the client if in a DC, or if it randomly closes count that as an X log would save some lives. Obviously this would not be okay to implement while the player is in the wilderness.

 

PS: Honestly not sure if this is even possible to code, but it would be a great addition if it can be.

Sorry but it is not in OSRS and the main reason is this can be abused for bug abuse. Duel Arena, Wilderness, teleports, bosses, the list goes on...You may think it can be something very simple to add in, but it is not. :P

I could see how in certain instances this could be pretty useful, but as Moe pointed out this could be a very abused feature and could hurt the server more than it could help. At the moment I can't give my support until all of the possible kinks could be worked out.

I have to agree with @Moe and @Fe mag3 fe on this one. The least we'd want is for folks to abuse this suggestion in duel arena stakes and the like.

Support this 100% hopefully omicron can add this into the game as i see alot of people get stuck logged in and lose there hardcore status etc. Would be a great addition to the server.

I mean if this was coded properly without possibly being abused then sure why not, but I can see already if this were implemented this would be abused somehow like Moe mentioned already above.
