I believe the pet should be announced, just like all other pets, as even the pet from Chambers of Xeric (Olmlet) gets announced due to its rarity. It's just a little annoying seeing the purple chest, seeing the player loot it but no item is announced. It would just feel that little bit more rewarding to receive that announcement message.

 

 

Edit: Chromecast is actually right, it should come along with a drop like in OSRS also

I don't see why not, so I'll support the raids 2 pet drop announcement.

In general i do support the announcement..
But I also feel that the pet should come with a drop, like in osrs..

All pet drops should be announced so I’m going to assume this is a bug instead of intended. And lil zuk doesn’t roll on purple like omlet does in raids1 in osrs

It is indeed a bug, the pet drop was announced briefly after TOB came out but since, has stopped doing so.
