It's different enough from EIM to be worthwhile, and I think this mode really could bring a ton of new players, support.

I could most definitely get behind this, I really enjoyed the idea of EIM and this would just take it to a whole new level. You could split the group between skilling, PvM, PvP if you wish, and even bossing. This could bring people together in a great way, and give us all a whole new experience to look forward to and enjoy!

I would like to see this as well.
As far as I know people from 07 would love to see this and it would be great if we’d add it before 07, this would attract a lot of new people, not only that though, like you said, tournaments and etc.

I like this idea. Personally I played classic mode for the feels of this reason. I was new to alora and was a EIM but made it to maybe level 60, I did not know enough to get those gains well enough. I then made 'Tw1st' and played that like a iron-man but with the trade like a group... so having the this mode in actual EIM would be awesome, and then we can have like a 4v4 tourney ect.  But lots have mentioned, 1 guy quit on them.... let alone 4 ;p

This would make Alora even more unique, we would have another ironman mode that osrs wants but does not have (yet)! As for the content side, this would be heaven for me. What will have to change then is: Make a chest (same as eim chest at ::shops) But increase the depositable amount of items to lets say 120x. So that a team can put in as much as they'd like. furthermore I think it should have a second option as "private" so that you could stack items for 1 specific person on the team, eg: The pvmer who will get food from the skiller. These are just some ideas obviously, but something along those lines could work if this does go through.

 

Furthermore I would like to say that I, myself would enjoy playing this gamemode!

The Classic gamemode is not Team-/Clan based, you can trade with any other Classic member. Group Ironmen would have to get their items with their own team, and they can't simply trade any other person of the same game mode. So no, these game modes are hardly alike. Sure it comes close but it's nowhere near as competitive nor interesting as 1 team going about their ironman ways.

Sounds like a good idea to me! More ways to play Alora, without any downsides.

Decisions like exp rates, possibility of hardcore (Death = 'kicked' out of the grouping'), only able to raid with partners, etc., can add more depth to the idea.

Okay this is not a bad idea but it would make Elite ironman less played imo. but would like to see it in game would be fun to get 4-8 groups like what u said 2 gathering supplies rest pvming.

Wouldn't mind seeing something different implemented though - maybe you can trade with ironmen once per day (meaning full trades in case you accidentally trade an iron man for nothing) or establish a system to do something about duplicate items such as 2 blowpipes and someone needing a magic fang. Stuff like that. It would make the game easier since the game itself is hard enough especially the drop rates.
