I was doing some clue scrolls the other day, and this question came up in my mind. Is there any perks with the clue hunter outfit pieces/set that you get when you obtain them from doing clues.

 

And then i thought to myself, how cool would it be to where if you have the full clue hunter outfit, you dont need the items for the emote clues. I think this would be a really cool update. It would give that outfit something to be useful for other than just a cosmetic, and it might encourage people to obtain it for its great use! 

 

Let me know what you think, any suggestions would be great! I really hope this works!

As i have been talking to other players, i think this topic could especially be useful for ironman accounts! I know i would for sure take advantage of it.

That would be cool. Clues get kind of repetitive and annoying. I'd support this, but for future reference make sure you read the stickied threads before posting.. This format makes posts cleaner.

Sounds like it would be cool. Right now a lot of players feel clue scrolls are worthless which I do/don’t agree with depending on what type of account you play. The people that don’t find clue scrolls useful may find this as a motivator to go and do them.

No support. I could see the possibility of the full clue hunter outfit giving a higher chance to receive "rare" items from clues but I don't agree with the outfit replacing the items needed to complete the clues.

Support, I think that'd be a nice (and not OP) way of making clue outfit useful. It's also quite thematic - wandering around in the outfit doing clues would be cool :)

but agree with what MACK said.

I would not want to see it replace the items for emotes, but even if it were to just give location of clue while wearing outfit.
(like Osbuddy)  just to defeat typing ;;clues, it would be some type of benefit while running clues.


I know playing as an ironman, I do my clue's often but as a classic player I did not... it's all preference and now that I have done clue's on EIM i find them enjoyable, I have a tab with just the items needed for clue's + a glory...  clue's do not take long if your setup to just bounce to them.  I noticed as classic I let them stack and that was my issue... once I got so many I just could not be bother anymore. Try to do before I obtain more than 3 in my bank. (only put in bank if on BXP and having fun with my slayer task)

Thats a nice idea. But for Normies it would be to good, cause atm they can just buy all of it.

I also agree with MACK & Tw1st, it would be cool for it to give a better chance at getting rarer items from clues & to assist in navigation. As far as allowing you to do a clue with no other required items, I am not in favor of that.

You're just making the set broken at that point.  At least with the other suggestion it's useful for efficient players.

Making the clue hunter outfit give a rarer % to a clue reward or making it the same as having the clue items required to do the clue is unnecessary. It is already pretty common to get good loot from the clues themselves, and the outfit is fashionscape.
