My last post was about putting castle wars in the game, and people were talking about only if the shops were good people would actually play it. 

 

Now my opinion for the shops would to intruduce new armor sets such as pvp and skilling sets. The pvp set would be putting in vesta and stat gear, skilling could just be a remodel set of  cool looking gear that would maybe an extra exp bonus or just for fashion. Could also add in basic things like c keys or d boots.

 

Feel free to add in your own opinion on what could be in the shop if castle wars was added in.

I like the idea. However, if they did eventually add PVP gear into the server, I doubt they'd add it to the shop, but instead add it to revs which even then is unlikely. Other than that, I do believe there should be some good rewards for playing castle wars if it were to ever be added fully but then again it's then a matter of getting people to play it constantly, just look at pest control, once people have the gear they want, they are no longer interested which could then happen to castle wars overtime.

Similar to what CodeLance said, the problem is getting people to play it. If a new armor were to be added as a reward from castle wars, once people got it there would be no reason to play again. I also see it being difficult to program for Omicron since it’s an entire mini game and not just a QOL change.

Vesta & stat are only for the DMM seasonals lmfao. isn't even added into regular 07 atm. no support.

I don‘t like the idea of BiS pvp armor being obtainable from a safe Minigame like castle wars. I would support if you spice it up and make castle wars not safe on death though.. Set minimum risk to bring to like 5m, items can not be looted and will be removed from game on death or something like that. Would make a decent itemsink. Another option could be a participation fee you have to pay everytime you join castle wars lobby.

Castle wars is dead content other than RS3 having it as a completionist trimmed requirement and I don't see much of a point of trying to revive such a boring gamemode..

No support because it would be even more dead than PC, also the new armor has no reason to be in our game at the moment.

I loved castle wars and honestly would like to see it in the game, however as most people here have said it is definitely a dead mode. It wouldn't make sense to add PvP armour as a reward, even though I'd love to see those new armours it's better to either wait for the right time or add them into something a little harder to obtain.

Unfortunatly I cannot support this since we have seen how overpowered these weapons are in the current DMM tournement. Big no no at this point of time, especially as a castle wars reward.

PvP armour/weapons has been introduced to the game, also no plans for Castle Wars anytime soon.
