What is your suggestion?: Add working defensive casting like it is in OSRS.

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: I didn't find it anywhere.

 

How would this benefit Alora?: The ability to gain defense XP while doing barrage slayer tasks would be pretty nice. It would also give players going for higher defense XP a way to train it, other than melee.

That would be nice to have, but as we know, mage is not too useful in game. If mage attacks ever got a buff, then I would support it, but at this moment, it would be just waste of time to code it in.

I think mage is very useful, in near max mage gear, using fire surge and killing zulrah I'm faster than using max range with a blowpipe. Also good for camping kraken, and any of the barrage slayer tasks, and barrows.

Yeah, but obtaining all that and the reward for that are not really balanced, but that is my opinion only :)

Support. I think Raud makes a valid point about mage not being as used as the other two styles, but I don't know how hard it would be to 'code' it in and if it was easy then why not. But i know nothing about coding =).
