Now indeed what I did here is very Dribbble-like, i posted it here: https://dribbble.com...pace-Experiment

 

However, an artist named Gal Shir inspired me to invest in an iPad Pro (12.9 Inch) and an Apple Pencil. Quite expensive gear.

 

I began practicing illustration and I love the style he has, so I want to master it and practice it.

 

Again this piece is nothing official, it's all just practice. 

 

I think I'm making good progress with illustrating so far.

 

App used: Procreate

Tablet: iPad Pro

Pen: Apple Pencil

 

Becoming a good illustrator means I can make my own icons, artwork for websites & apps, etc.. and I really want to get the hang of it. 

 

In all honesty, I don't like to use Shutterstock or use any custom artwork made by others, unlike other designers.  Only icons because those are useful resources. But as a UI Designer, there is no excuse and so I will invest in myself to become better, and better.

The illustration looks superb, you're definitely talented. I would offer criticism but I have no GFX knowledge what so ever, I just go off what I see and it looks great.
