[Elysian 450]

In this guide I will go over the following:

1. How to get to Corp
2. Stat requirements

• How to get to Corp:​

Teleport home (Edgeville) and speak to the teleport wizard; select bosses and Corporeal Beast

 

• Stat requirements:

Recommended: 99 Att, 99 Str, 99 Def, 99 Hp, 99 Mage, 99 Prayer, 70-99 range if soloing

 

Minimum: 70+ Att, 70+ Str, 70+ Def, 85+ Hp, 94+ Mage, 70+ Prayer, 70-99 range if soloing

 

I would not recommend going with the minimum requirements as this will diminish your supplies very fast and you have higher risk of being crashed

The reason you bring Karil's here over Armadyl is because Karil's is only 10 less magic defence than Armadyl and doesn't reduce stab bonus like Armadyl does.

Spec: There's no real order here, you're going to want Crystal halberd, you can also bring Dragon Warhammer>Bandos Godsword to lower Corps defence

• Inventory:

This is the inventory I personally use, you can remove some shark for karambwans for more 1 tick eating options

Vengeance should be brought with any gear setup either in a rune pouch or as runes

 

• Basic information about Corporeal Beast:

Corporeal Beast is combat level 785 and has a maximum health of 2000

 

Corporeal Beast has a max hit with melee of 51 and 65 with mage if no mage protection prayer is active

 

Players should always keep protect from magic on at all times during the fight as this will reduce the magic damage recieved from Corp by 33.3%

 

Players should also keep in mind that Corporeal Beast has a 50% damage reduction from any weapons that are not a spear or halberd; making zamorakian spear the best primary weapon and crystal halberd the best dps spec weapon

 

Corporeal Beast has multiple attacks:

Standing under the Corporeal Beast will cause it to stomp the ground crushing any player under it dealing significant damage

Standard melee auto attack

Small magic orb that has a chance to reduce your magic level

Large magic spell that can deal high amounts of damage through protect from magic

Small bouncing magic attack that has aoe splash damage as well as being able to hit more than one time on any player caught in the radius

 

• How to kill Corporeal Beast:

​Pot up in the waiting room outside of Corp and make sure you have a veng up

 

Turn on protect from magic when ready and enter the cave

 

Corp is an aggressive boss and will start attacking you

 

When working in a team you all should try to spread out around the Corp as much as possible; this will cause corp to spin more regularly and can slightly slow down his attacks as well as protect everyone from getting aoe stacked

 

If you brought a Dragon Warhammer/Bandos Godsword use the spec once in trio+ or twice in duo/solo

 

If you have Crystal halberd spec after your def lowering specs have been used for optimal DPS

 

Eat when you get to 65-70 hp to stay safe from the aoe attack as this can hit upwards of 79 damage

 

There is a chance Corp will spawn a 'Dark Core' ignore this as its not coded in alora

 

If you are soloing Corp you may have to bank once or twice for food per kill, this 100% normal and Corp will NOT heal if your'e not in the room

• Tips and Tricks:

Buying a house portal and training your construction for the Ornate rejuvenation pool is HIGHLY recommended as this will allow you to constantly refresh your Hp/Prayer points/Spec after each kill

 

Being Super Donator rank or higher allows you to cancel slayer tasks for free; allowing you to continuously cancel tasks for corporeal beast tasks

 

You can bring a dwarf cannon to help add some damage, this is highly recommended while soloing

 

if you're 70 hp and see corp use the aoe magic attack you can eat a shark while its in air to help negate some of the damage that might hit you

 

You can find some PVM clans that regularly attend corp such as (Dynasty)

1. The core is indeed not coded, but should always be killed asap. He hits 20's... If cannon no worries, the cannon will do it for you.
2. Add what attack style the player should be using, both for dwh and spear.
3. Defence reduction over chally every time. Even 4 dwh and 2 bgs specs is worth it in 3man i found.
4. Id put karambuans in your inv picture. Seeing this is a guide, 90% of the players reading it will be beginners. Karambuans are a MUST for beginner players doing corp. Now you make it seem like karambuans are not very needed.

Ofcourse, some of these points are debatable, but this is my opinion. Let me know what you think!

Dark core doesn't hit anything right now. It can maybe hit a 1 to break your venge but thats it.
I also thought of adding the attack style last night and will add this when I can return to a computer
In trio its debatable if everyone should dwh spec it twice. One from each player and the rest chally is fine imho
Ive never once done corp with karambwans and as long as you eat up following how I explain in the guide they aren't really needed at all. It all depends on how you're killing corp but if you do follow the guide fully you shouldn't need to one tick food every kill.
