This suggestion/ poll is due to me noticing as a new player donating with RSGP the owner would profit more than if he was accepting just cash donations, my poll is about how you guys feel about the current rate of .60/1m VIA donating it here.

Positive / negative feed back is welcome merely suggesting it be raised so that the player base, who uses RWT on other servers/ the regular game to "profit" doesn't feel their investment in their favorite server "Alora" would be wasted cause the owner profited off them donating more than if they were to just sell it then donate.

 

Rate I thought about 

.90/.92/1m which is not a bad rate cause all the owner is doing is taking a few seconds to get item ID/ then spawning it once the transaction is paid via the regular game.

 

Cause as of right now per 1m the owner is making towards .4-.7 cents each 1m, if he were to resell it to a website

I've Seen servers offer 2$/1m cause it helped encourage donating, a GOOD rate is better then a Scam RATE where the owner pushes to lower the rate below what he'd make selling it. Remember that 

:) not saying the owner is scamming, merely wanting to help the player base by suggesting a better rate and that it may help encourage new players to donate.

No support. The system is perfect as is. Rates are adjusted based on the market for 07 so the current/future rates are completely reasonable. Also, we don't need this as an incentive for voting. That's what the 25% bonus tokens are for. 

 

Also, to your point about Omicron profiting off 07 donations. I'm not particularly certain whether he profits or not but if he does it's minuscule. Anyway, it'd go down as an MM expense, seeing as he has to go through the trouble of handling ALL 07 donations on top of his other responsibilities.

hey man, if you rather be given .60 cents/1m rather then .67/1m (by just selling the gold) and donating and taking advantage of the 25% more tokens, be my guest, but what you stated, is he can write it down as a mm fee of it being a min $1.12 fee for him to personally go and get it from you? when you can use a certified website known and not have to deal with any of these "fee's" just this week, I was quoted .67/1m which was on Tuesday

Would you rather be given .67 or .60/1m for the same amount of time span? and not be charged a fee(for automated donation)/be charged a fee for just meeting the owner

But I thank you for your comment, and your opinion on this matter, I am simply trying to help show the motivations of encouraging donating

No support, the rate fluctuates in price as he sees fit. It used to be $1/m, than it was .80ish and now .60ish. Omicron bases his price I assume off the OSRS RWT standards.

Any OSRS GP that is donated to us is then resold to gold resellers, and the rate that we accept it at is based entirely on what we can get from them. A few months ago, it was around $0.90-$1 per mil, but has been steadily decreasing for the past few months unfortunately. Lately, we've only been able to get 0.55-0.65, hence our current rate of $0.60/m. Rest assured that we constantly update this rate, and if are able to get a better rate, we will offer a better rate as well.
