Hey, I am suggesting a fix to where you don't lose expensive items over cheap items upon death. For example, I'm not sure if this is with any barrow item but, Torag legs specifically will keep over an abyssal whip. Some players, including myself, find this out the hard way once we respawn at edge. I know there's a way to check what you risk before pking, however, you can only view what you keep when you do not have a skull. I think maybe it needs to be adjusted on what you keep vs what you loose depending on the price of the item. Or, add a way that players can view what they would lose if they were skulled. - Chase

 

Edit: Learned that the first object is usually what is kept if skulled. Maybe make a better way implementing this by having a square around the first object in the interface? Just a thought.

Yes, it shows what you would keep if you died. But I'm talking about when you're skulled. Considering you can only keep 1 item, what would that item be? You will only find out once you die. Edit: For all you know, when you skull a monkfish could keep over your purple pants.

That interface shows what items you will keep in order.
If I was skulled my purple pants would be kept :) (Or this is how it should work)

No problem, would actually be useful if they made it so when you were skulled the items kept interface bit would change only showing 1 item and mentioning that you need to protect item to keep it.

Through the new Server Update the items kept on death are now organized by the items G.E value which is similar to OSRS since we are using their Item Prices.

Items kept on death are now determined by their highest value

  • This is calculated from the highest of: Shop price, GE value, and High alch price
  • This will attempt to ensure the correct items are prioritized on death
  • Reclaimable items will no longer show up in your IKOD list. They are always send to the Untradable manager.
  • This is because you will always keep these on death anyway, so there is no sense in wasting a protected item slot over a reclaimable item. Your items kept on death interface will reflect this change.
