Something I think at least certain spells need, for instance, Ibans Blast cannot be autocasted, Neither can Sara Strike, Zammy Flames or Guthix Claws (excluding SoL and SotD). There are others aswell that dont sit in the regular spell book's auto cast screen. It would work by right clicking said spell in the spell book and toggling and auto cast option. It is really annoying having to manually use certain spells, ALL the time. Especially comparing it to other attack styles, mage just comes off worse (unless your using ancients.)

 

I think doing so will add more variety to players rather than the same style repeated.

It would be greater if you can auto cast left clicking the spell & keep it like that. 
Also these spells like Sara Strike etc. need to have an auto cast option cause its hard as hell to click spell and on monster/player.

you would encounter problems with other spells like tb and snare and what not. right click to autocast would be viable for coding and implementing. but yeh i get you. in all fairness the whole spell book should just pop up on autocast.

I agree with this since at times I become frustrated having to click back and forth through my magic book just to use 1 spell over and over again. Would benefit a lot of players and introduce more magic damaging into the game.

I think this would be a beneficial thing for everyone, and like Chong mentioned - it would bring more magic uses to PvM. Fingers crossed this gains traction enough to make it into the game!

would devalue SOL into becoming basically a sotd without venom (whenever that's coded in)

maybe ask for void knight mace if you want to autocast guthix's strike

I support the idea since we have things that aren't in OSRS. It's meant to be as fun & easier than OSRS, so Purple OG's idea is spot on.

I agree with most everyone above, adding right-click auto cast would be largely beneficial to anyone who pvm's with god spells.

I think the point of godspells hitting so high is having to manual click the spell. it should take the little bit of extra effort or everyone will be using sotd like horror said. I deny

they actually hit less than fire bolt with chaos gauntlets.. higher max obvs, but way less accurate.. honestly pretty useless atm god spells unless u got SOL or SOTD

 

ALSO its not just for god spells. its for ibans too. ibans is a pain, and hard to obtain.

Autocast for enchantments, high alchemy, etc would be nice.

Reading back over some of the comments, i realise some people might think this would effect some items like SoL or SotD, i disagree. those items have a much higher mage bonus, and melee bonus. also if you compare range weapons to it. the Ballista can smack like 75's, it didnt de value the use of an RCB or MSB. And auto cast while pking just isnt the meta. everyone knows its half a tick slower to auto cast. I think it would just be a well needed update to a game in the year 2018. every other combat style attacks automatically so magic should to imo.

I will just support adding Ibans staff autocast since its a bug since day one and its on 07 .

I will decline this suggestion simply because it would take skill of the pvp/NH scene, and it will also devalue the staff of light and weapons like that. 
The autocasting on the ibans staff has already been suggested.
