What is your suggestion?: Deadman Mode with a twist. Don't open any new worlds or servers for Deadman mode, just let them duke it out in regular worlds, without harming anyone who isn't Deadman.

Is this in OSRS?: Nope. Deadman Mode is on a different world in OSRS.

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No

How would this benefit Alora?: It would be really exciting and entertaining to watch people just fighting damn near anywhere on the map, as a spectator amused while skilling peacefully. And for those pvp freaks, you get an audience! As well, no need to pay for extra resources to allocate raising costs (okay, well you might when people flood in ).

I remember another server that had this, it was quite successful on there, it would bring a lot of pkers to the server, I don't see why not, support.

I actually like the idea, but my only question is it actually worth all the coding? If a lot of people actually want this would not mind it being implemented to the game would probably bring a few pkers/clans. Just don't think it is great time to add something like this because of EIM was released a while ago.

I reckon by the time they got done with a project like this EIM would be old news.

I think in theory it seems like a good idea. Although, the one issue I have, if people don't Pk now in the wilderness how does this change anything? The mechanics are going to be the exact same as pking in the wilderness, just elsewhere. 

 

Me, personally, I wouldn't play the game-mode as Pking just isn't for me and I know a lot of people out there are like that. I'm not knocking your suggestion by the way I'm just raising some, what I see as, issues.

I like the idea of deadman, It would just have to made where these dead man players wouldnt be able to just camp every spot for good drops ingame like they do in osrs. as this would interfere with IM game mode players. It would have to not be worth while to kill anyone who isnt on your DMM game mode. or reduced damage or something.

In my opinion this seems like there would be a lot of coding required for no real guarantee that there would be much activity, Alora is notoriously PVM based.

If you had a normie or ironman out in wildy. Could make it to where DMM can pk with them, just only in the wild.

I was actually thinking of more or less the exact same thing a little while ago. It would definitely be extremely interesting to be involved in as well as watch. I think it would be awesome just doing a slayer task in the Slayer Tower and see someone come in and start garaging the guy next to me.
