Including me there are alot of people who say that they want another partner. Due to that some stays offline and some find other people they want to share this amazing journey with.

 

I aknowledge that here is some type of reason behind the certain timer you have to find one. But there should also be some smart counter thing to add in order to give people a scond chance to change partner. Maybe if both players give a good written reason and the banks get checked for anti-farming purposes or whatever the creator had in mind when creating this mode.

 

Anyone agree?

No Support. It was made very clear in the update notes that you only have one chance to choose a partner and I have no sympathy for someone who doesn't put any thought into who they choose, then have that person quit on them. (Sorry if that sounds aggressive, but that's just how I feel)

I understand how you resonate and your answer. But comeone, there should be some kind of alowance to change partner now in the start. Like just ONCE before there happens any harm to the mode and items gained through it.

Yeah but I think there is an issue since it's ironman and the main problem is the items traded/gained. Since ironman is purley strict,

Allowing this just opens a massive can of worms that doesn't need to be opened. It was already boldly stated that there would be no changing your partner once you had chose one, going back on that now would just be to messy. 

 

If you are in a position where your partner has quit or is inactive then you could either make a new account and pair with someone new or an alt, or you're gonna have to rock solo mode. 

 

People are stressing heavily about this... Being solo is not that much of a disadvantage compared to duo.

Only thing I'd suggest is the ability to change your partner to a BRAND NEW LEVEL 3 ACCOUNT and only once.

This is my personal opinion:
First. It was stated, quite well, that there would be a single partner choice and no availability to change partners
Second. If partner changes were indeed available people could abuse that system to obtain specific items or speed through certain levels due to level differences between new partners.

Third. Integrating a partner change system would, in all honesty, screw the coding and bring in a lot of bugs and glitches that are not necessary to the game.

In conclusion:
If you are not happy with your current partner either A. Continue in as a solo ironman and prove you can do it
Or
Remake your EIM and find a partner who will be helpful and active.

I would love to change to a new partner that is around the same level as me, as my partner just up and poofed on me the first day and he hasn't been back since.
