Poll: Elite/Duo Ironman Mode (278 member(s) have cast votes)

Would you like to see a new Ironman mode, which will have a low experience rate (5x or less) and possibly a "duo/partner" feature?

What experience would you like to see?

Should a "Duo/Partner" feature be added to this mode? This simply means that you can select (1) player to be your partner, with which you can trade with. You cannot trade with anyone else, and you cannot change your partner.

oh when I was reading this, I thought by "Partner" it meant two people with two different accounts in game that can trade and work together in that way. Not shared accounts. Sharing an account still seems a bit risky.


If by chance I was mis-reading the desciption let me know.

On an off-note, if you're going to be looking for a partner, in either sense, give me a pm in-game and talk with me about it.

oh when I was reading this, I thought by "Partner" it meant two people with two different accounts in game that can trade and work together in that way. Not shared accounts. Sharing an account still seems a bit risky.

You would need an alternate account, not two people using the same account. For example (just to clarify): Myself, Xuf,has account 'EIM Xuf' and is paired with Lowkey, who has account 'EIM Dad'. EIM Xuf and EIM Dad are paired, and they can both trade with eachother.

Could we change things up a bit for the way ironman works? Like, I remember with another server, there were options for Easy (high XP rates), Medium, Low, and Extreme (lowest XP rates, I think 20 xp per 1 hit). It would be nice to be able to choose ironman mode but be able to have the high xp rates of normal mode. Some people just like to play solo, ya know?

Alora is a different server and we have our own way of doing things. Also, it would be unfair to current ironmen/other game modes if we implemented  something like this after so many people have worked on their accounts.

You probably weren't around, but it wasn't always like that on that server. I was one of the many people who didn't have a choice back then, so... And it wouldn't be unfair, they would be put into the XP rate group that their XP rates would put them in.

Point is, the only reason I don't play ironman is because of the XP rates. I want the challenge of playing completely solo, but I don't want to have to play with the low XP rates.

You're telling me King Purple, I don't even play Alora anymore, really waiting for this game mode. Smashed HCIM when it was released was top 10 most of the time but this.. is something that could definitely rekindle my love for Alora :P
