Slayer: what i think it should change.

Some of this stuff has been suggested before, i will try my best to link the respective topics if thats the case.

 

 

 

SLAYER SHOP REWORK

  • By removing cannonballs from the shop, reducing the mould's price by ATLEAST 50% is a must. Its current price is  15000 points.
  • The Zamorakian spear is a boss drop and should not be obtainable with slayer points.
  • The amulet of the damned is a drop from crystal monsters, it should not be in the slayer shop. (Not a very usefull item anyways).
  • The fighter torso should only be purchased with pest control points, to increase the activity there.
  • The bone crusher is already obtainable from the achievment shop, and for a very cheap price.
  • The granite clamp should be moved to the pkp shop.

 

What i think it should be added : 

 

The Archlight -  Higly requested item, probably best in slot for most demon tasks.

Ancient Shards - Either add them in the slayer shop, or make them a  common drop in any Kourend catacomb task ( its current use should be removed for it to happen ).

Seed box -  Very usefull for most game modes, i would also suggest removing high tier seeds from  ;;Shops, to add a certain market value to high tier seed drops. (only seeds that are traded regularly  are tree seeds, atleast in the gamemode i play).

Gem Bag -  uncut drops add up, and i will certainly carry this around 99 % of the time.

Soul bearer-  Super practical way to send ensouled heads to your bank, giving you more inventory space mid-task.

"Unlock"

  • Bones to peaches Tab /spell -  the ability to turn bones to peaches makes boss trips last much longer, the spell could be unlocked with  by paying an x ammount of points, and the Spell tabs added to the slayer shop.
  • Aviansies as a task -  From the experience i have it is not worth to open an instance when you get a tasks of  11 or 12 kree'arra's, this would allow players to camp Armadyl for  a much longer period of time (also coding aviansies themselves, wich i would talk about later on).
  • Cave horrors as a hard task -  A lot of players complain that we should have cave horrors as a hard task, myself included. This would be a good "Point sink".
  • Kraken as a hard task -  The kraken is a very easy boss that can easily be considered a hard task and not an extreme task, with this it should also be added the weaker version of the kraken boss to the game itself.
  • Ability to extend tasks -  highly requested, should be an option to unlock for a decent ammount of points. (http://www.alora.io/...yer-suggestion/)

 

Duo-slayer has been talked about multiple times so there is no need to go in dept with it.

Fixes / Tweaks 

 

The kourend catacombs : 

 

The teleport itself is messed up ,wich makes looking for tasks m  much harder.

  • Nechrayels and bloodvelds do not count to the respective slayer tasks. They are a better version of the regular ones because they have more hp, therefor more slayer xp per kill;
  • With abyssal demons being a viable option to burst/barrage, i think a instance option should be added, something like a trapdoor, to avoid people crashing eachother due to the fact that we only have 1 world (dust devils and nechrayels too). The isntance could be bought with points or coins, wich would be another "point sink" or moneysink.
  • The use of the ancient shard should be changed, to match the suggestion i mentioned above ( Archlight ) , and it should be a much more common drop, unless its decided to be  a slayer shop exclusive.

 

OTHER

  •  Kurasks need a upper floor, it can only be used if you are on a slayer task. The number of kurasks that we have currently is too low.

  •  Spiritual Mages having the normal slayer requirement ( 83 ) . I could see why this is still the way it is, having no slayer requirement. But with the addition of aviansies, they could be coded the way they should be in the first  place.
  • Add the mourner tunnels, it is the most viable/efficient way to kill dark beasts, due to the fact that you can use a cannon there.
  • Add Adamant/ rune dragons as a slayer task.

 

I am sure i forgot to credit some suggestion topics, and that i forgot a lot of good ideas, but this is what i think it should change and what should be done about it.

Support , make smoke devil room multi again it was before nieves dungeon relocation.

 

Also make salve e imbued work + keep bonecrusher in shop since you can only get a max achievement pts and you can lose those items

True, but thats more of a cosmetic update then QoL imo :P

As most have said, the shop ideas are great. Especially the spear and torso being removed. I also think the task additions are nice since it can get annoying having to keep canceling tasks when you're looking for something specific. Overall, 100% support. Great topic.

Very nice suggestions, would rather keep gmaul clamp in the slayer shop. I hate when servers make loads of stuff PKP exclusive, since I don't enjoy PKing and if the only way to get things is through the PKP shop, it sucks.

 

Also, pretty sure Nechryaels do count to their slayer task in the catacombs. I did a task there before.
