Why do you never reply to PM's and you're never in the official help CC? There's people asking questions in the CC all the time, and being the kind person I am; I have to reply. There's no point in saying "Message me if you have problems" then ignoring them. Not saying it's all the staff, and I'm not saying you ignore everybody. Just try and get around to PMing the person back. 

 

I would also like to add this isn't a bash at the staff team.

This actually happened to me a lot when I first started. I would ask for help, not be answered, then see a yell about them offering help. You just have to find the right staff members who will take the time out of their day to assist you.

They should all take the time out, that's what they applied for. It's not the fact I need help, it's the fact I'm doing their job for them (in-game). 

 

@ Staff, don't bother saying I'm wrong because I've not seen 1 staff member in the official help clan chat all day.

Pretty sure I reply to most of my PM's and assist in the clan chat as much as I can and when I can.

Besides, there's an issue with the PM system. Sometimes messages don't go through and this tends to happen a lot.

I do my absolute best to reply to every PM I receive. I am sorry that you have had a bad experience with a staff member and I hope it was not me. I assure you that I will take into account what you are saying and use it in the most positive way. As Jupiter said, sometimes PM's do get glitched and we cannot reply at all :/. If that is to happen, I yell the answer and/or attempt to find the player in-game. I can guarantee to you that I will never blatantly ignore a player.

Once again, I apologize that you've had a negative experience.

Hmmm, personally I can't say I've ever done that to a player but I understand your frustration. Sorry to hear you feel that way.

I noticed most of the time staff are busy (Always PM Support/Mods first), so it's best to ask in the Discord chat if no one else is able to assist you, but I definitely know what you mean.  

I promise you, the staff is there to help, but they can't answer every PM they get, there is 300+ players, and a few of them.

They can actually. If I was able to handle pms from 400 players as the main admin/staff of the serv, im sure 5+ ss's and 3+ server mods could and definitely should be able to get back to everybody. If not the admins i understand but ss/mods? they should never be too busy to help. unless of course the problem is bigger such as a major bug etc.

There are those who prefer there PM's to be in the same chat as public, which is an easy overlook if not constantly looking in the chat. I agree they should be able to answer them all, but we're all humans. =)

I know first hand what it's like to be staff on a server with 300+ online. It's not easy. Especially when It's only you or you and someone else being bomb'd with 20 pm's.. Messages do get lost from time to time. It's not that they are ignoring you. It's that they are buzy answering questions from the 20 people that asked them something before you. However, this is a pretty helpful community. If you see that it's taking a staff member more then 30-40 seconds to reply, it's probably because they are handling something else or they are probably afk. You can drop a question on the discord and there are alot of members there. You can also send a private message to a specific staff on the discord and they will eventually see it, unlike the server pm's that get lost within time. Give them some time, they are still looking for staff members from what i'm seeing so eventually more people will be promoted and the onging flow of questions can be queued in an organized matter. I'm not speaking on behalf of the Alora staff with this post. This is just my giving my opinion about what I think is going on.

With the numerous amount of promotions there still appears to be some lack of helping cause people are still complaining daily.

 

Either promote more people like say waah or get better staff like say waah.

I've been staff on os-scape before, I know how easy / hard it is. It's possible. If I go afk, I log out. If I don't know the question, I'll still respond instead of ignoring them and keep on using ::yell so they know I'm active.

 

Also, @ Staff, if there's a problem with the PM's then why do you keep saying "Message me for help?". Just join the official help CC and yell "Need help? Join "help" CC" or something basic, instead of fighting over each other (it seems this way since you're all saying "pm me", "join my cc" etc).

 

As I said, I'm not slagging the staff members off, and there's no real frustration here. I just don't want the staff team to become ignorant / rude as they've started off well. Especially Jare, he is #1
