Hello Alora,

 

I recently started an ultimate ironman and bumped into a thing I would like to see different.

 

An extremely important feature of the ultimate ironman is being able to use a looting bag to store an additional 28 items. It is possible on Alora to use the looting bag to store items when you're inside of the wilderness. But the problem with the looting bag is that you cannot withdraw items from it when you're standing inside of the wilderness. You have to die and retrieve the items from the bag you wish to have in your inventory, and deposit the items you do not want inside your inventory back into the looting bag. This is a rather unpleasant experience. My suggestion is to fix the looting bag so you can deposit and withdraw items from the looting bag while standing inside of the wilderness.

Even though there are workarounds like you mentioned in this post. I'd love to see the looting bag work as it should.

This works exactly as intended though, on OSRS the only way for a UIM to retrieve items out of it is to die. Yes it's tedious but that's what the gamemode is about, no support.

I agree with both of you. Yes it's a bit annoying and also pretty stupid, but it's part of the gamemode. If you make the ultimate ironman experience too easy whats the fun in even playing it?

 

I agree with Sas & Monaco. Looting bag is currently working as it should, and I would like to see it remain the way it is. For the challenge.

No suppprt. It’s not in OSRS. This is a rsps based on OSRS and most of the crucial things should be the same. In my view, this is a main part of the game mode and should not be removed. Withdrawing items from looting bags could also have other consequences. It would mean less risk in the wilderness. People could bring extra brews and restores in thenlotting bags while fighting wilderness bosses in order to increase their trips, but also it would allow them to have more food to tank pkers, making it harder to get kills.

Although this is one of the most annoying things as a UIM, a looting bag is one of the most over-powered things you can have, seeing it effectively doubles the amount of items you can hold. Like Monaco said, this is the same way it is on OSRS and because of that I don't think it is a good fit for Alora.
