Currently, you can get assigned anywhere from 5-35 kills or around there. EXAMPLE; https://gyazo.com/5c...79bdd5867902914

 

I think a new mechanic should be implemented to the extreme task dialogue where you when you ask for an extreme task a dialogue box will pop up asking you how many kills you would like to be assigned, anywhere from 10-50, 5-50, or even more! SIDENOTE: 

I could also recommend this for Hard tasks where the same dialogue will pop up asking how many kills you like to be assigned, 60-100 or 50-100. I think this is a good suggestion due to the fact, some extreme tasks and some hard tasks you get you might want to grind due to their being better reward or just because you need a certain item from that monster.

I think this would be a very good addition to Slayer. Trying to camp a specific boss for a specific drop can be frustrating when it takes you 10 minutes to get that task, then only having to kill 5 for the task. 50-100(Maybe 150) for Hard tasks is reasonable and 5-50 would be amazing for Extreme tasks. It would save time, and wouldn't be abusing the Slayer Streak system. Make it happen :)

I like the idea, but if people want a single task and don’t want to skip they’ll only pick 5 to do. Perhaps it roles a bass amount, in then you can pick from the bass amount to 50 (for extreme tasks). I.e. you role a bass amount of 16, so you can pick from between 16 and 50.

I think personally to help benefit the players and the server itself that donator rank should determine the frequency as to which you're given the option to choose how many you want to kill

 

Good example would be that Donator rank (First one) Has a 10% Chance of having a boss task that they can choose the amount (5-35)

 

And the higher your rank the higher % chance of choosing how many you want to slay (can also increase the max amount per task the higher rank you are as a perk for higher donors who want to grind a specific boss)

Whilst good in theory, I think the server doesn't particularly need more incentive for people to donate. Those at the highest ranks like uber and master who would benefit from this the most are rich enough and generally have played enough that they never do slayer anyways.

Agree with this 100%, I don't think it should be another incentive to donate but rather a reason to experience a slightly better time with slayer and personal goals ingame.

It's essentially a good thing, + bosses on this server aren't that hard and can be done with minimal gear.

to the hard/extreme it would be nice to see that added to barrows aswell, but change from barrows minions to chests.

I feel like it would be easily abused by rich players and create even more difficulty with doing lower level bosses for new players. I think the ability to choose your own task amount should need to be purchased through a fairly high amount of slayer points. This way it's not abused by every single person wanting to boss, but instead only by those who wish to put a considerable amount of time into slayer.

I agree, I just think 5 is a bit low, and people will be using it to quickly farm for tasks that they want, rather spending time completing a long task, so I think 10-15 would be a good base amount

This is the only reason why I don't think something like this would be a good thing. If people can skip tasks for free by being a super-donator+, AND get to choose how many they want to kill will just make camping the best bosses/tasks easier which I don't think is a good idea.

@Xuf So therefore, it could be possibly coded where you only get to pick how many kills you want on after you completed 1 task or 2 tasks in a row, so they can't auto skip to what they want.

I'm neutral on this. I like the idea but there are a lot of things people are mentioning that could possibly go wrong if this were implemented.  However, I really liked @Coww 's idea.

 

Gonna stay neutral on this one and see how it goes. :D

This is a good idea, but this feature should be unlocked with slayer points, or  atleast be a high donator perk.

Slayer assignment system needs a complete overhaul before such mechanics are implemented.
