Can someone please explain to me why the hell traps are so bugged?

This should've been suggested long ago. I can't do hunter for the simple fact that if I put down a trap, and it doesn't catch an animal immediately; the trap gets disabled and I have to re-do it. I'm not talking about 30 seconds after I put down the trap; I mean not even 5 seconds and it's gone.

Can this please be fixed so I can actually get 99 hunter?

Support.. If you don't plant traps right under the chin, the trap dismantles, very annoying.

I'm fairly positive the traps are collapsing due to a failed catch, and the failed catch animation does not exist. Because if you place a trap in a place with no animals it'll stay open for quite some time. I could be wrong, but my preliminary tests have led me to this conclusion.

This issue isn't that it has never been suggested. The issue is that it has never been fixed. Definitely support nonetheless.

This already been reported plenty of times, should’ve already be fixed imo.

Support.

It's at least better now than it was before.

They go on a constant loop of spawning, just wait for a few in-game ticks before putting down the traps.

It would be nice if they didn't dismantle as quick.

Support.

The Hunter skill could do a bit of a rework in general, in my opinion. I support.

Should be fixed. I couldn't imagine doing Hunter on a Classic/HCIM
