I agree with the addition of motherload mine. It would create another unique activity to do while mining! And yes I agree with Xuf, we would need prospector outfit! Good suggestion.

I would love to see this in-game, but I could imagine that this would be a difficult update to code, due to the layers of actions that need to be performed during this method.

 

If this would be an easy update for Omicron I don't see why not. But I don't think its worth Hours and Hours of work atm.

I 100% support this suggestion, it would make mining enjoyable for me. =P

Even while this is a good suggestion, I feel like even post-99 mining is very manageable.
All that being said, if you're going for 200M mining, you should never mine a single ore post 99.
The most efficient and rewarding approach is doing shooting starts consistantly. Try it out, make it a part of your routine.
