So as we all know edge pking is very dead and In my personal opinion I think its because the cost of the torso, defender, max cape etc, So I know rune pking isnt profitable but its even less because how much everything is to buy back when you die, so I suggest to only change the buy backs for wildy deaths and leave it for no-wildy deaths as a money sink.

In my opinion, the wilderness should be more risky than the main world, so I don't agree with removing the buy back cost for those items.

Let's be realistic, wilderness isn't dead due to the cost of untradeable's being too expensive to buy back - that's just absurd to think that.

 

It's dead because this is a PvM based server and the combat is horrible.

Lol Edge is dead because people are dreadful at PKing and prefer staring at a boss for 10 hours a day. Not because of buybacks.

well you didnt really read all of but thanks I guess, People pk for profit and if you cant even profit off of rune pking then nobody will pk

This isnt really a pvm server, its just a server.

One thing I would like to change about this imo is if there was something done about common PvP equipment items used in edge PvP. Maybe even reducing the price of untradables upon death when you're below 25 wilderness kind of like untradables in the first place.

The problem isn’t buying back the untradeables, this has already been reduced in the past and didn’t help for one bit.
I think there should be something like a combat rework, I don’t really see any other solution since it’s been going on for so long.

In my opinion our wilderness is dead because we're not a pking server.

If we wanted a thriving wilderness which is full 24/7, then let's make 90% of our items spawnable.

 

Other than that, we can keep trying to fill our wilderness up with a bunch of people, but when most of our player base are PvMers/gamblers it's not going to work. We can only make it more enjoyable for our current pkers and hope that it brings in a bit more of a crowd.

 

But I honestly feel like a lot of pkers expect us to have a wilderness like spawn pk servers. Why would anyone want to come onto an eco server to pk when it's a ton of work to get your supplies.

With this idea, 50% of the gold you spend buying back your items is dropped.

 

So let's say you reduce the amount you spend to get your items back when you die in the wilderness. 

Sure, it's now good because you're spending less gp getting your items back.
But now, when you kill someone in these items they are also going to be dropping less GP.

So you're back to the problem, it's still not profitable because realistically, nothing would change.

EOC server.

Items are too expensive. End of story & the combat system is shit.

 

- To get gear to PK it takes too long. 

 

This is why wildy will never be active.

I think Welfare gear is too expensive for new players. It's mainly new players who use Rune. Most people are rich in items not cash. Hybridding in welfare is 1M. Again it's not much, but for new players checking the game out they could lose interest fast. I think they need reducing and maybe we introduce better rewards for killing people.
