Hey guys,

 

I'm extreme donators. and i got access to the gem mine 'dungeon'

Super donators got acces to the gem mines on the surface too.

Perhaps place 1 or two gem rocks at the regular ;;dz too!

 

Mining these gem rocks is a waste of time at this moment in time,

Perhaps a buff would make it better to make use of it.

 

 

- More gems from 1 rock, you have to walk around a shit ton now.
- A higher chance on receiving higher level gems, and a very small chance 1:300,000 of getting a uncut onyx.
- perhaps remove Opal and Jade gems from the rock

It should be open to everyone since you can buy the gems from the skill shop reguardless.

The rates would need to be tweaked for ironmen though because normal accounts don't even go here.

Maybe have a 1/150 chance of a dragonstone

A 1/50 chance of a diamond

A 1/25 chance of a ruby

A 1/20 chance of a sapphire

A 1/15 chance of a emerald

And 1/5 chance of a Opal or Jade

Other than my additional suggestions, I SUPPORT the removal of the Opals & Jades, but DONT SUPPORT the uncut onyx or multiple gems from 1 rock.

Agreed that they should be buffed although i'm not really digging the idea of onyx being obtainable (although it's such a low rate it barely matters).

The idea about removing opals and jade gems from the rock's "droptable" would in itself already be a pretty good buff combined with more gems per rock.

All in all, it's a good suggestion

I'm pretty sure this was talked about in the community when they first came out and I don't believe gem rocks are being moved to ;;dz. They're supposed to be an incentive of the Super Donator perk. I do think that the Opal/Jade amount is overwhelming however.

Way too many Opals & Jades, if they were removed I think gem mines would be worth it.

Ye.. This. Shouldn't become too overpowered.

 

Edit: Tbh I think 1/5 for Opal/Jade is a little too common. thats still a sh*tload of 'em per inv.

hmm its weird I got a uncut onyx on my hcim from a birds nest why wouldn't the rare chance of an onyx be able to be obtained from a gem rock wouldn't that make more sense than a birds nest? I don't support ur rate at all by any chance man

It seems like theres already enough ways to get an Uncut onyx, we DONT need another [Ex: Crystal chest, killing Obby monsters, birds nest]. One more would just make it another easy afkable way to have a chance at an onyx.

Agreed, but this seems a bit hypocritical. You just said you want an onyx to have a 'chance' while mining the gem rock. But now you want it removed from the birds nest? Its practically the same thing, why not have remove them both removed. Im stopping my debate now.

Lets not continue on this topic bout the whether or not the onyx should be in it, lets let Omicron and other staff members decide what to choose.

I believe the rocks being Super Donator+ is good the way it is, as for giving the rocks a buff I'm all for it.

 

Even if the Opal/Jade gems were removed too that would be good.

I 100% agree with everyone about this. Super donator perk sure but not Extreme.

Support.. I would love to see opal and jade removed, that might even make it worth while for classics to mine gems too.

Agreed I'm not sure why these gems are locked behind donations other then giving iron men another reason to donate, milking us for it. It's the same as locking copper ore or willow trees..

Maybe you can also have a designated area for certain gem types if that is possible or be able to toggle what types you could mine (except onyx and dragonstone ofc) but these are just ideas they may not be good but I tried.
