Goodevening,

 

Might it be a good idea to reduce private instance timer to approx. 30 minutes, and reduce the cost to approx. 1M? On peak times almost every Godwars boss is crowded with people on slayer task. Its just too expensive to pay 5M for 16 Kree'Arra kills (for example).

 

Almost everyone I have addressed this to thinks this might be a very good idea that saves a lot of time, money and lots and lots of frustrations.

 

What are your opinions on this matter?

Would be great if there was an option for how long do you want an instance.

 

For example:

 

90 minutes - 5M

60 minutes - 3,5M

30 minutes - 2M

 

Other than that, I completely support this suggestion. Great idea.

Would be cool if there was something along the lines of what @Solitary said, maybe scale it so the longer one is less expensive per minute but you can get a 30 minute instance for less gp overall.

I like the idea!

It's a bit annoying at peak times for sure, I tend to get crashed several times per day at dks, there's just about noone that wants to pay the current 5m fee just to complete a slayer assignment.

 

I'm thinking that a massively reduced cost for those who are on slayer task might do the trick;

Then those who are training slayer will be able to train in peace without getting crashed / spending a fortune on a skill that's sort of meant to be profitable. And those who are grinding bosses for loot & profit will get less crashes from people on task.

I fully support the idea of reduced instance prices as a result of reduced time, but only if there are options as @Solitary suggested.

I think Solitary is on to something here. These prices are reasonable as well. If a player chooses a 30 minute session but wants to do another 30 minutes, he/she would have been better off choosing 60 minutes for 500k cheaper.  Something for players to keep in mind in terms of time/money management. I definitely support the idea or changing up instanced rooms but I definitely support with Solitary's suggestion included.

 

Edit: I support price reduction either way but would want to see session times as an option.

High instance prices are there to combat farming of items and overflooding the economy, not for convenience of slayer tasks.
