I am unaware if there are somewhat constant client updates, or if it is even announced when there is a new one so correct me if I'm wrong.

 

I've noticed that there are certain things that do not work correctly or are buggy on the JAR client. Are there new client versions coming out that can be downloaded? If so, are there announcements in-game that will let us know? 

 

A few things I've noticed:

 

Reply with Tab: If you only have one person on your friends list, you cannot reply with tab. You have to actually add a different player and then your friend in order to reply by tab.

 

Transparent Chatbox: I don't see this really being a necessity, however I feel like it would be a great update to the user interface and add to the uniqueness of the server. The colors would blend well with a transparent chatbox, and being able to click through the chatbox would be convenient.

 

Removing the leveling pop-up/option to remove the pop-up: New players that receive a level for every hit/spell can find it annoying when trying to remain active in the chat. Maybe an option/complete removal of the pop-up and just a message in-game.

 

Ignore List: You can add to the ignore list, and it will block private messages apparently. However, you can still see their chats via yell/clan chat which creates more problems between the two players.

 

That's all I've got for now, let me know what you think and anything that can be added to this list.

Could definitely fix the ignore list thing, and I'll look into the tab-to-reply function. There already should be a transparent chatbox option in advanced settings, though!

The transparent chat box works I think. At least I had it temporarily, but the chat colors weren't sticking out very well so I turned it back.

Maybe an option to change the different chats to colors of your own choosing? Something to add to your post?

I see the option for transparent chatbox, however cannot get it to work. I’m running the client on HD with all of the enhancing features in fullscreen. Does the transparent chatbox only work on a certain setting?

Yes. You have to have the game in a resizeable screen, not the regular.

Omicron responded saying he'd look into the fixes you mentioned.

 

They are also currently on the active bug list as well prior to this post.
