The Evolution of Combat was a complete rework of RuneScape's combat system, released on 20 November 2012. Billed as "one of the largest content updates in RuneScape's history"[1], the evolution brings a variety of new content including powerful abilities, dual wielding weapons, new Magic and Ranged equipment and new Prayers. In addition, the combat triangle has been massively rebalanced, monsters have new attacks, and the combat level formula has been revised (the maximum combat level went from 138 to 200), although the formula was later reverted to a modified version of the original.

My idea will make combat perfect and enjoyable. You'll see an improvement in the combat triangle by 400%. Bring the Evolution of Combat to Alora and make the combat system great again. Fun for the wilderness and even more fun for the bossing!

 

I already know what you're thinking... "OMFG WE NEED THIS NOW."

 

While we do need this ASAP, we must understand it will take Omicron a little while to get this coded. I hope to see the Evolution of Alora in place by Christmas. Thanks.

If I'm not mistaken this is already in the works and will be out by yesterday.

As a HCIM I often struggle and get quite overwhelmed with the current dynamic and intricate combat system. With a nice, simple quick interface that 'Evolution of Alora' will provide, these problems will be of a by-gone era. Can't wait to see this implemented in game. Could we also poll a 75k trade limit with the combat re-work? People will be overwhelmed with how great the combat system is and all of the skillers will be rushing to purchase high level items like the Dragon Longsword. If a 75k tradelimit is imposed we can curb the market crash and hopefully make ALORA GREAT AGAIN.

i honestly feel like this would make alora lose players they came here for an osrs experience eoc isnt osrs by any means at all u guys should really think about how this would effect the server there are tons upon tons of EOC servers... theres only a few osrs servers and thats why everyone plays on this one this is about as close to 07 as we are ever goona get.

Have you forgotten that EOC was one of the most controversial updates to ever happen to Runescape? I remember Beta testing the EOC update and going through other testers opinions. So much hate. May as well suggest trade limits and no PVP in Wilderness.
