[Horror]

Few things I've noticed off the bat, not having tried con yet; Light ballista is still unable to be made, addy gloves are still one def. Also granite body/legs are 1 def still, should be 50 as is on OSRS. 

I know you've put a ton of work into this whole update @Omicron Work on con first & focus on what's gonna effect the most people first then effect the small things like I mentioned. Besides that tho amazing update from what I've seen so far.

Hiding game features behind a paywall has got to be the most disgusting thing i have ever seen.

Plank-make being reserved to legendary for teak and uber for mahog is actually pathetic.

I usually only have good things to say about updates but this is honestly just sad to see.


donated $250 to a server and i cant even use a spell that is just a component of a skill.
You should make tinderbox $50 donator rank or higher next @Omicron

 

We're locking a slightly more convenient method behind donator status, as we always have. There's nothing stopping you, or anyone else from going to the sawmill and making the planks, all the same. We aren't locking any content away to donators, we're simply adding a layer of convenience.

You made plank-make 20x faster than any other method by making it do AN ENTIRE INVENTORY per cast. if you put a banker 5 steps from the sawmill it would STILL BE SLOWER.

its not slightly or convienient , its the equivalent of only allowing donators to make bronze items for 99 smithing. its possible but that doesnt make it any less pathetic

 

Edit: i should add, its convenient on osrs because you sacrifice gp getting the runes, to make the pank at roughly 1.5x the speed. so theres a payoff for the increased speed. you aren't selling convenience you are holding content as hostage.

For clarification, i have no problem with you incentivizing donations @Omicron

but doing it at the expense of the rest of your players is wrong

I have to agree. But we must take into consideration that construction is a completely new skill that has JUST been released into the server. We can't expect everything to be perfect right of the bat. I'm sure Omicorn is taking in all the feedback that users are leaving on this thread to not only better construction as a whole, but also to meet his players' wants & needs.

I agree this is just another sellout update to try and milk the community even more.

 

First inferno cape donation after 1 week of the  release and now I can only make a normal plank with super donator.

 

Golden hammer and crystal saw only for donation tokens , which also increases pet ret cmon.

 

Played since release but im out for now.
