Hello Alorians,

 

My suggestion it to make tent whip untradeable. 

 

Doing so would increase and stabilize whip prices as well as raise the price of the kraken tentacle.

 

If one wishes to depart the tent whip, then the player would only receive the kraken tentacle. The Whip will be destroyed!

 

It's a small suggestion, but I feel like this would raise the price of the Abyssal Whip and Kraken Tentacle.

No support on making it untradable. I'd say an alternative to this would be: implementing charges for tent whip, that'd be a good way to have a small money sink.

There's already a high enough demand for whips and tents. I don't see how making it untradeable would benefit anybody. No support. :/

Make it have charges. Doing so will make them break and demand will rise. Ergo making them more expensive.

yeah I support Divas idea of making charges, maybe have a little bit more charges than osrs though

Hello , 

 

in my opinion abyssal whip tentacle should have 25,000 charges and after that it should destroy it self and the whip is gone

Can't support this. 85 Slayer is a big milestone for anyone. This would devalue some incentive. To add further to Diva's suggestion, I found this on the 07 Wiki:
 
"Due to the volatile nature of the kraken tentacle, the abyssal tentacle degrades as it is used. After 10,000 hits with the weapon, it will degrade and consume the abyssal whip, leaving the player with only the kraken tentacle. If the player has a full inventory, the kraken tentacle will be left equipped in the weapon slot, useless and invisible. Players can combine the charges of two abyssal tentacles. One fully charged abyssal tentacle is worth 10,000 charges, and the maximum one can be charged to, through adding additional abyssal tentacles, is 20,000 charges. This action will destroy the other abyssal tentacle, making this action effectively cost a kraken tentacle as well. This feature can be very useful in PvM situations, where players may use hundreds of charges through several boss fights."
 
As far as price stabilization, nothing is ever set in stone. Free trade is free for a reason, I suppose.

Your suggestion would punish everyone who owns multiple tent whips, and it would have an adverse effect on the economy in which would most likely not do as you intend. There are too many variables, however the suggestion of adding charges is a nice one however and it's also the way it is in osrs.
