I don't usually make threads or talk about stuff on rsps forums, but someone told me to in shoutbox so here it is. It will be all over the place but I hope you all get the point..

 

In the store currently I see tons of flaws with prices;

ACB (most powerful range weapon in game $9.50) comparison to a $5 firecape?

SOTD (most powerful mage weapon in the game $9.50) ^

 

With the two items above and most items I'll mention I would need to know drop rates to make examples better, but the problem with pay to win servers on release is people will write the economy based on donations prices.

 

SGS should be same or very close to AGS as it's the post powerful PVM weapon in the game and is easily as OP as AGS for different reason. With ACB and SOTD (maybe a bit less for staff because it needs fang to really excel)

 

With barrow sets I'd take them off the store and make a random barrow piece box if you can otherwise take them off all together.

 

Before the suggested prices let me tell you I do realize donations run a server, and you need them BUT the server does need an economy or it will get boring fast with big donators ruining hard to obtain PVM drops by buying them all.

Suggested prices;

ACB: 250

SOTD: 200

BGS: 200

ZGS: 200

SGS: 350

AGS: 400

 

I dont really have any suggestions for the rest of the stuff other then the donation shop seems rather greedy. Most items will be *worthless* within too long of the server being opened.

 

Feel free to add input or criticise my decisions.

I've seen a few controversial prices in the donator store, I'm sure they'll come round to it after attending to other more important issues.

Fair enough, server releases in 21 hours though, needs to be addressed before the release whereas somethings could wait until after that aren't game breaking. :)

I've seen things like this seem so promising and crash and burn due to how the donation shop was set up, the thing about runescape though is, you still need the skills, and the point still stands that some of these items are nearly $30 to $40 usually unless you donate now as opposed to later on.

I don't expect this to be too bad upon launch, but I do hope that it gets brushed up as well in the future.

Yea I'd like to see the better weapons and armor to be worth a quite a bit considering that's what everyone is working for.

I completely get where you're coming from - this will more than likely be changed in the future.

I agree, rather see less people with these in-game. If there are any other items that are controversial either PM me or start a new thread.
