It would be cool if we could leave comments on other users forum profiles, thoughts?

 

Could throw in some fun gifs onto other users profiles, especially around holidays :)

 

Add some reaction options so other creepers can react to the posts

 

an in-game command like ";;profile 2 swords" would open my page

 

I'd love to see the forum background become a solid color too, that way we could customize our forum backgrounds more effectively too

Great suggestion, I thought IPB already came with being able to comment on user's profiles, guess not.

Yes please, on other gaming forums I'm on it's always fun to post on what they call the "wall"... like what you said send a funny gif to a friend or whatever.

Support on this. Feel like forums need a minor updates like this, in addition to being able to post videos on your profile and such.

A cool suggestion. Although this is already a feature, being able to write on other people's profiles. You've just chosen to disable allowing people to comment on yours

it should be auto set to allow people to and you shouldn't have to click on "profile feed" it should be located right in the first page of their profile, and revamped since it's quite ugly atm. Adding music, and the ;;profile syntax are also nice additions imo

Yeah, the ;;profile would be a nice feature I'd be a fan of that and I can already see the amount of "REEEEEEE" you'll be hearing on people's profiles with music It'd be interesting though. Tbh, don't think I've seen an IPB, or at least not many, with profile comments on the main profile page, I've been a fan of how tidy looking IPB keeps their profile pages. Though being more visible would help people know it's a feature / easier to use. Personally, we should just switch to XenForo. That'd bring so many social features to the forums and a lot better profile pages

 

I can't even remember setting my profile to allow comments, though I have edited my profile so no doubt I enabled them. It's quite odd it's disabled by default though, agreed that it should be set automatically to allow.
