With a player base so large it would be nice to have a command such as ::help or something along those lines instead of messaging staff that are online, Having a dedicated place that staff

can bring people to deal with problems and send them away instead of private messaging would stream line things and make dealing with problems much faster/easier.

I've seen this done on other much smaller servers where typing ::help would put you in a queue and staff deal with people 1 by 1 much faster than they other wise could and don't get over run with people wanting help at the same time.

Its also much more user friendly rather then messaging someone and kinda hoping they read your message and help you and are busy not dealing with others.

P.S Sorry if this has already been suggested i gave already suggested list a quick skim but it's massive so i might have missed it

The problem with this, is it can easily be abused by malicious people. They could put on an autotyper and essentially spam i.
If you put a cap on how often you can type '::help' that'd essentially work.

Though the larger issue with this, boils down to the old saying, 'give a man fish, feed him for a night. Teach the man to fish, feed him for life.'
It shouldn't be the staffs job to spoon-feed players information. Instead a better solution to mitigate the potential needs of players in help, is to become consistent & remain consistent in directing players to the knowledge base, which has a ton of FAQ's, support thread information etc.

I think staff need to yell more frequently directing people to resources that the player can then use to find the answer to their question.

I like the idea but there is 1 problem, staff are players to. Alot of staff members still actively play the game, this means that replying to a pm will make them able to still play the game the way they want. if you change this to a place where staff members have to be stationed or if they have to move around they won't be able to enjoy the game anymore like we do.

That said, I never had the problem of not getting an answer or a staff member not being able to help me, but I don't know how this is for other players.

I'll let the staff decide for themselves on this suggestion

As dishonest said, maybe if we added some sort of time restriction on the command.

I've seen this sort of thing on other servers and it's also an adaptation from World Of Warcraft's ticket system.

I think people that can abuse it, will. There should be some sort of punishment for falsely calling for help.

It works for one of the biggest game companies out there, why shouldn't it work here.

This said, I don't think we need the command. Most of the time there's staff online that continuously spam the chat.

It's not hard for those in need to spot their name in chat -> add them -> and message them for help.

There's also dedicated clan chats for helping such as "Alora" & "Help". These will help most people.

To the issues were normal players shouldn't be involved;

Get evidence of rule-breaking -> Report here on forums -> wait for staff to answer.

There's plenty of information to grab over on the guide section here on the forums.

We don't really need a help command since most help can be given from the community & clan chats in-game.

I mean id personally wouldnt mind something like this to be implemented but to be honest what dishonest stated on where it would be abused by users would just make it counter productive.

I once played an server wich has command ::reqhelp and it opened to you'r game screen an box wich had options to choose witch kind of  issue you do have and under it there was place ''descripe more'' and a place to tell more about you'r issue , something like this would be useful on this large server

This has been brought up in a staff meeting a long time ago, but ultimately never took off. I can't remember the exact reasoning's
