emm is there no drop rate boost for classic players?

Why would there be? It's supposed to present more of a challenge.

Exactly, but you can still get loot if you kill another Classic mode player.

awesome, I look forward to seeing how the economy adapts, both the classics and regular. The swapping rates taking place should be interesting too see as well

This should be interesting to say the least; it'll be fun to see how people progress & in what time frames. It'll also be interesting to see how the "classical economy" varies from the existing.

Perfect timing for me to join Alora! I'm very excited for this, I best hop online in-game and familiarize myself with the basics and whatever else I can familiarize myself with before the Classic game mode releases. I most likely won't aim to win any of the competitions/tournaments, but best of luck to everyone who does.

Amazing! I'll be coming back for sure. Any plans on creating a second trading post for classic accounts? I think it'll be tedious finding trades when the majority of the players wont be trading the same items as we will be.

All will be available, but at a slightly nerfed rate. No details yet on the exact rates.

Although having a separate trading post for classic only would be a pretty big job, if there is enough demand for it, it is possible in the future. I'd prefer to attempt to have a classic-only clan chat where people can trade and see how that works. Classic players will automatically be entered into the classic CC instead of help CC, if possible.
