With people complaining about this "tax" that is on the trading point, why not do something useful with the tax. Since the tax is 5% of whatever you are selling, which means that a sale of 1m would cost the buying 1.05m, but that 50k doesn't go anywhere right? So why not use that 50k and put it into a "pot" so to speak, and once the pot gets to approx 10m or whatever total you desire, it would give a random event e.g. 1.5x PC Points, 1.5x Vote Points, 1.5x Barrows Points etc. Ofcourse these don't stack with event currently going on so some tweaks would have to be made but I'm sure you guys could do it. Just seems to be abit boring that the tax goes nowhere.

Hmmmmm, maybe support for an event or something but I wouldn't think having it be weekend events would be so good. I'm sure some type of event would be interesting.

Good idea. But if it's too good of a reward, people will just put stuff for 1b to get the boost and abuse it. 

 

Could be some kind of daily 1-2hr boost or some kind of lottery (i.e. 10 % of Tax is added to lottery pot).

Nice idea but I won't support this, it's a money sink and there's already enough bonus xp in game + weekends.

Like the idea about the reward for x amount spent you get a bonus. How about that but that's the weekend bonus's 50m > Random bonus 100m > 2x Random bonus > 150m All unlocked for the weekend. Or something along those lines anyhow!

The entire point of the TP tax was to leak money out of the economy in order to make GP more valueable. Putting that tax into a reward pot would be completely opposite of the desired effect.
