Currently the only viable way for lower level iron men/women to attain gems are through the rogues den and mining. I'm suggesting gem rocks be added to the game with reduced mining exp rates to better balance the ways of getting gems. Maybe add the chance for an onyx with a 1/5000 drop rate or something.

I'm sorry but I Can't support this suggestion, allthough I see where its comming from.

Gems aren't Very hard to get from wyverns, wall safes and raids etc. Its a bit time consuming, but isn't that what ironman is all about?

I get where you are coming from but that's why I mentioned low level iron men/women. Let's be honest no one is going to take someone with crappy combat gear in a raid team. I'm not saying to have the rocks throw out diamonds and rubies every tick. Maybe the average inventory should be 3-4 Ruby's and 2-3 diamonds.

Therefore, I suggested you to do some Wall safes, wyverns.
A low combat level account can kill a wyvern easily with a anti-fire shield. I did it myself on my ironmen.

And like I said in my previous post, Ironman is a grind and that's how it is supposed to be imo!

I guess I just don't see where you're coming from. How is mining gem rocks less of a grind than killing wyverns?

A variety of ideas is always nice, if you get bored of doing something you can just go and do something else. Considering the only decent ways to obtain gems is wall safes, raids, wyverns.

Support. But only gems upto diamonds like OSRS, no dragonstone onyx etc,.

Support...OSRS has it and it would be nice to have in-game. Have it up to diamond aswell, no onyx 1/5000 rate.
