At the moment Zulrah is in need of a few buffs and nerfs.
First of all we start of with a Oldschool runescape picture which we will discuss later on this topic.
Honestly, a PvMer can gain faster supplies for 99s in Skilling then a skiller can at the moment.
A skiller needs to grind out alot of skills to gain supplies for the next skill, while a PvMer can just kill Zulrah in hope of getting a unique worth millions. And get skill supplies meanwhile without trying.
-I think zulrah needs a nerf just like OSRS did or anywhere close. So it won't be to easy on getting the supplies for:
99 Firemaking
99 Herblore
99 Cooking
99 Prayer
99 Smithing
Next thing about Zulrah.
It is way to easy to kill Zulrah basicly you can just use black d' hide and a magic shortbow to kill him.
That's way to easy if you compare it with the amount of Cash you make a hour by killing it.
This nerf will also mean Ironman, HCIM and UIM will have more of a grind/challenge to gain 99s so people won't get bored to fast.
-Zulrah (All-form) Should be like if you protect from prayer it only protects you from 80% of the damage. the 35% that will hit you will be between 0-12 Everytime it attacks.
That will make zulrah a more of a challenge to kill so if the drop table doesn't get changed it's atleast earned by the difficulty of Zulrah.
Don't misunderstand me it will still be killable in black d' hide and magic shortbow (you will only need to use more supplies and the kill might take abit longer).
The next nerf is more like sometimes it is actually impossible to kill him even though Zulrah is really easy.
It doesn't happen often but when it does everyone has been there and it is really annoying.
When Zulrah becomes blue you will need to use Magic for protection.
But sometimes it hits with range (you can't prayer flick on time or anything).
It is good that he actually does damage.
BUT sometimes he will just spam the range attack in Blue form. Which means he can do 40s like 5 times in a row and that is nearly impossible to survive and if you do your inventory will be empty (No point in prayer changing cause if he starts with mage again you still get that hit before the prayer is changed).
The amount of times he can hit you with range or mage should stay the same.
-The max hit should go down to like 20.
20 is still high if you compare it with the fact that with prayer on he can still hit 0-12 if the changes will happen.
So what does it mean if this all goes through?
Zulrah will be more of a challenge to kill, he will be stronger, he will still drop good loot so it remains a good money boss (But no longer skilling supplies for easy 99s).
Let me know what you think.
