today i went to sell some crushed gems to the thieving store and it wont buy them for the same price as a unnoted one. it would be good to be able to stock pile these items and sell them all at once receiving the same amount of cash as if they were unnoted

This won't happen because the current setup works as an anti-bot system. If you could sell noted gems to the shop, bots could just steal the gems, bank, then sell all the noted gems at a later time super easily. With the current system, you have to find the moving shop keeper and sell them unnoted, which prevents bots from easily being able to locate the shop and sell.

Guess it does prevent bots, but then again prevents players too.

Sad to say - probably will have the mechanism still in place. I guess you could do gem runs to bank, then bank to the seller. But what is the point...
