Guys, you're all over the place with your comp cape complaining. If you don't want the monkey.. lets make a poll with several suggestions of replacements for the monkey.

Adding a RS3 comp cape with lighting effects, whether it can be done or not, would look silly and tasteless in the server. Here are a few suggestions for other items in the cape slot that may look a little more fitting with combat gears....

 

-Eagle Cape 

-Cape of Legends 

-Moonclan Cape 

-Trimmed Quest Point Cape 

-Cabbage Cape 

-Deadman's Cape 

-Pink Cape

Could always suggest something like the "attacker level 5" from Barb Assault lol

I'd like to keep the monkey also cut the cabbage cape because it can be obtained via getting 2500 forums post count.

Like said above, looks like a normal cape for such a big achievement. I'd keep the monkey over the ones you suggested, but it needs to be changed to something more special and it can fit in more places.

I'd take the monkey over these capes, tbh.  Sorry bud. Hopefully OSRS adds a comp cape, so we could use it.

 

Also scratch the cabbage cape, as what Mewtwo said. It's a Forum's Loyalty Award.

I gotta say it is a shame OSRS doesn't have a comp cape because I am truly not a fan of any of the suggestions lmao.

 

I am sorry - if you completed the game and got a pink cape or something so sub-standard it is not worth it. 

 

Another thing - if one of these capes was added, I am sure the stats of the comp would be replicated, and I would classify that as a custom item, given it is modified from OSRS.

 

As mentioned above - cabbage cape is in game, nobody has 2.5K post count however. 

 

I would hate to see customs in this game. But I have no idea what to suggest in regards to a comp cape, yeah the monkey is cool but doesn't justify the work that goes into becoming a completionist at all..

 

I guess we will all just have to wait for OSRS release of a completionist cape if it ever comes and focus on more exciting content in the meanwhile.

I would support a change of cape,  but no base osrscape comes close to what I had in mind, there are already customs in game so why not something new?

The 'customs' we have aren't necessarily custom items, but items from custom donations (i.e. not on the store, you have to pm Omi directly to buy them). All items on the server are actual osrs items.

I had forgotten about that one, and yes I believe that is just a shrunken down model, not a completely new item made for the server.
