Currently I think we can all agree that our currently mining teleport, the Falador Mine, isn't all that great. If you're wanting to mine adamant ore the best place to obtain it would be the wilderness, and that's not always a great idea. Of course you can get Adamant from the Fally mine, but it's not an efficient place to mine it.

I feel like if we had a better mining location a lot more players would enjoy mining and wouldn't be pushed into the wilderness so they can obtain some decent ore. I feel like it would also make players enjoy smithing a bit more as it'll be a little easier for them to obtain the supplies needed to smelt bars.

So my suggestion is that we could either replace the Falador mine with Jatizso or the Jatizso mine could just be added as a second mining location. This mine  contains plenty of mithril/adamant rocks, something which Falador currently lacks in.

I had suggested this before, but it seems to be completely gone from the forums. /shrug

Just so you know, there's adamant, mithril and coal ore in falador mine too. You don't have to go to the wilderness.

But yes, I would say the current mine teleport is a little stale.

I know, but I'm more on about efficient mining spots, but I edited my main post anyway to include that information.

If there's 2 or 3 people going to Fally mine for adamant ore, that's going to be one sucky time.

For mithril ore I wouldn't recommend Fally, I'd say set your home to Yanille and use the mining spot there. Then you can do really quick bank trips with a 5 second run back to the rock.

I do agree, it's slightly inconvenient. But on the other hand also, wouldn't the trolls make it annoying for skillers?

It's the exact same concept as scorpions in Falador mine, if you're a skiller it's rather annoying. The picture is just stolen off OSRS Wiki, so adding in the trolls would be decided by Omi.

Having used to be a level 3 skiller I would agree with this but at the same time I think that adding this would take out the risk & excitement of going to the Wildy resource area. It'd be a great addition if the population was a little higher, much people don't mine as we speak. I don't think adding this would make many more people mine unless the mines now get over crowded which I don't see happening any time soon.

Definitely support the idea of making a better mining zone.

And not something custom and bizarre. Something in OSRS, (location) even if ores have to be spawned in the location.

Support, any other ideas for location?

Plenty of mines which could be added if any useful ones are found. (:

Jatizso is probably the most useful mine on the list, imo.
