There are some rumors going around that a popular server's database was leaked (Don't be alarmed, it isn't ours). If you don't have 2FA activated onto your account we all HIGHLY recommend that you activate it today. Here is a guide on how to set it up - http://www.alora.io/...tication-guide/

 

We encourage you to activate 2FA so you have the highest level of protection on your account. If your account is hacked there will be nothing we can do as we have offered you security for your account. If you use the same password on ANY other services I suggest you change them to something unique that you don't use anywhere else even if you have 2FA activated. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to PM me directly on forums.

Might be worth giving us an insight to which server database was leaked, that way we can know for certain if it will affect us primarily.

2FA is the best protection you can have on your account, everyone should enable it ASAP, it also gives you bonus xp for an hour when opening vote books, this is only when 2FA is enabled for the people who don't know.

Also if you DON'T enable 2FA and you get hacked, your items will NOT be refunded for not having 2FA, getting hacked with 2FA is basically impossible.

I was actually a little lazy and didn't bother with 2fa, d9ne it a week or so ago and feel rather safe now after seeing how it works.

Google your emails/usernames/passwords/ips and if you've been leaked you'll find yourself in one of the topic links.
Or there are some websites you enter a keyword in and it'll search the web to see if you've been in any leaks.

 

It wouldn't be a smart move to name which database has been leaked. This would just give it more publicity than it needs and we would just have more people trying to hack people. Although it's really not hard to find out, took me less than a minute to find the database. So just do a quick Google if you're concerned.

Take 2 f***ing ...arcminutes (I know it's not a unit of time ffs) to set it up, that's why it's called 2FA!

Just as a precaution I would change your passwords to something that you haven't used before. This again is just a suggestion to give your account that little extra measure of security as people do get hacked by using the same password on multiple servers
