Hey all, so I've been playing for a few weeks now and I've been enjoying the server but theirs a few fairly big problems. 

 

Whenever I go bossing; bandos, arma, sara, dks its always packed. I know the devs are working on the instances but why not make a donator world? Most donator's can out hit normal players at bosses at its just off putting for new players to never be able to pvm or pk. 

 

The new world would probably lead to more donations due to the perks of it and bring more stability to the servers and free up more pvm, slayer, training spots. Seems like a win win situation to me?

This is a pretty common suggestion so I don't believe another thread is needed regarding it. Though I truly support this because as we consistently reach 700 active users areas become overly crowded, and it might be easier on the hardware if it's spread across a couple servers.

Sorry I'm fairly new so haven't seen the other suggestions for it my bad. It would be nice to get some sort of reply from staff to confirm weather they'd even consider it yet

Yeah, as far as I'm aware we really haven't heard much from staff regarding this suggestion and frankly that is a damn shame. It's clear as the server population grows we need more room. I do believe instanced bosses are a step in the right direction as they allow bossing to be less crowded, but I do also believe a donator only world wouldn't be a bad idea either, even if it were restricted to Super+ as Super is pretty easily obtainable through bonds.

Totally depends how they have their backend structured. If this is all sitting on a single server (instanced zones included) we could see a continued diminish in performance, more crashes and/or corruption/loss of data. It wouldn't hurt to have a second world on a second server to help spread out the server stress. While instancing bosses is a step in the right direction, it could be causing increased stress on the server without people realizing.

At the cost of 5m/ph. That could potentially be a loss. So a donator world with less packed bosses is still very attractive but I see your point

actually sir you do have a very good point, seeing as over the past week i have noticed alot of sudden lagg that everyone gets not to mention the disconnections... infact i SUPPORT THIS POST!    ASSUMING that omni can afford to get a new server up and running and maintain it

Join date + posts + time spent are all a factor you should look at and lol.... Seel has been way more active in the community in considerably less time, so I don't know what you expect to gain out of that argument.

 

I got a huge chuckle out of this though, so there's that.

 

But this has been suggest countless times and I agree that there's no need to continue to post threads about it! A lot of people would support this.

If @ Omicron stated specifically that never would he consider making a donor world, then forgive me, but if you're saying it based on past moderator opinion then that is invalid since he's the only one that develops currently.
