 Here with a quick suggestion regarding the forum and tying it to the gambling scene. 

 

Since Otto took over the gambling rules, he implemented a system in buying the ranks, which is all fine and dandy, except that you can't purchase the General rank and is only obtained by being deemed very trustworthy and that starts from the Captain rank. My suggestion is to add a 'Vouch' section, where users can make their own vouch thread and players who have had previous exchanges with said user will leave their two cents. I suggest this because as of now, I'm assuming the only way for Otto or any other users to verify a user is trustworthy is to watch over them personally. The method I suggested would relieve a decent amount of the responsibility off of Otto and any other and help him get a feel of how the community feels about said user before handing them such an important rank.

 

 Of course, this section would not completely guarantee safety but it would be a nice step forward. In my opinion, it has more benefits than risk. 

 

Discussing some of the rules for the section would be nice as well, in this thread.

Support 100%. This would ease the hard work of staff having to watch over & give out the ranks to the trustworthy players. 

Implementing vouch section would be a good addition to the forums, people will have the opportunity to seek the section and give their vouches. Hope the suggestion gets accepted, thanks for submitting it!

Didn't even notice that there wasn't a vouch section on the forums up until you pointed this out. This should definitely be added as it's more convenient and allows gamblers to build up their reputation in a more suitable way. You have my full support on this, not sure why it wasn't added, and as far as buying ranks is concerned I still think that should stay just in-case of scams that someone is able to receive a refund from the money they paid for their rank.

Won Lolz I agree with everything you mentioned. And just to clarify, with the whole paying for the ranks, I was just trying to shed light on the whole situation, not trying to complain with how things are being done, sorry for the confusion. Although I haven't always agreed with being able to buy ranks, it does make sense since they now have money to pay back the scam victims as you mentioned.

This is a very good idea! But be careful, i played a rsps that had a similar system, and people would secretly buy vouches (especially from noobs).
