Hey evryone,

 

Some of u know i recently got hacked, and thats because i cant enable 2FA somehow.

I lost all my stuff and the staff team does their best to refund items if they can, but because of reasons (not sure if i can tell it so i wont) they cant just refund evrything, unless the items are still on the account of the hacker.

 

So to improve gameplay for people that get hacked, make losses by scam which cant be refunded etc. Why dont we help the staff team?

I would like evryone to put suggestions here for a way to refund items when these things happen to people, this is not just for me but all players of Alora.

 

Alot of people has left the server cause they cant get refunds (as far as i know 7 of my friends) and that should stop aswell right?

 

Please suggest evrything that might work to help the staff team out!

They help us as much as possible, now maybe we can help them.

 

I do want to thank all the staff that did their best to help me, so please see this as some help in return that we might be able to find a solution.

I would support bank pins, extra security is never a bad thing.
If an hacker finds a way to get past your 2fa bank pin will secure your bank, that would be great and will save you on a lot of items and cash.

If an account thief is armed with only a username and the password, they will not be able to access the items stored away in the account's bank. Additionally, a keylogger cannot easily obtain the PIN, because players have to click on the numbers instead of typing them.

Bank PINs are the best things players can have to protect their bank, it would just be an extra security feature.

So you're wanting us to suggest solutions to help you and other "hacked" victims to get refunds? I'm sure not any of us have a say in that, your account security is solely up to your ability and what the team provides, that being (2WA)/Bank Pins/Forum-Acc and you being careful with your downloads/details. All they can really do is verify the IP you have versus the one in your player file, if the items are gone and the player files are saved live then you're out of luck without proof of your entire bank vs if they could prove you actually aren't just bluffing. Sucks you got hacked and lost your items though, that's super bummy LMNTRIX.

Also, why can't you enable 2fa? You can have an authenticator on a PC :s
