Now this thread is completely opinion based. Meaning nobody is right, nobody is wrong.

Essentially, this thread is to capitalize on what we enjoy most on Alora and what makes it different from our competitors. The more we talk about what we enjoy, this includes suggestions/feedback/etc, will continue to push development of this lovely server and if I'm correct we all want more updates in time and more content.

Personally, I greatly enjoy our Teleport System, it's innovative compared to many "systems" I've seen implemented into modern servers. Alongside that I enjoy receiving noted drops, the ability to recover untradeables via the shop, bonus XP, vote books. Overall I love that as an Ultimate Ironman I still feel like even after max cape happens I'll still have plenty of content to cover such as achievements, bossing, 200mxp, etc.

I like the fact its very similar to osrs, and their aren't OP methods that just ruin the economy or other aspects of the server.

The community is really good too, along with a nice forums.

What's syntax said. I love how close it really is to osrs.
It's also not a cut-out staple RSPS like the other big ones.
I'm glad it follows that "community chooses" model for future updates. It's sweet. Buncha fresh ideas jam packed into a nice home community driven server.

The constant updates is what differs Alora from the other RSPS.

Not only are they constant but they are proper updates with actual new content unlike most servers nowadays.

The HD client is also a big bonus, Alora seems to be the only server out there at the moment with a proper HD client.

It definitely stand outs in both good and bad ways imo. There are quite a few unique features and yet the rules and TOS we have is fucking enormous. I actually once printed it out and it spanned either 12 or 13 pages pure for how you should behave whilst playing the game. It's nuts.

I love the ironman mode on here. Unlike other servers this is not a Pay To Win ironman mode!.

I love the drop rates on here and most things are somewhat of a grind to get (Unless you get crazy rng)

And I choose to stay around due to the community as this is by far one of the best out there.

I like how the economy is pretty well stable for the most part. Sure there's some outrageous pricing but the Trading Post and all of this makes a big difference. It's always something good when you see a server that has a more difficult standard for making money, drop rates, etc. Unlike most servers with the "Pay to Win" or "Selling [item] 8 bil" type of shenanigan. With as much players I've come across, and with what I've seen for the week or two I've stayed around, this is pretty much the big bang to a whole new era of private servers. As to the developers, you've all dd a damn fine job with what you got, keep it up! This is something I truly haven't ever seen before in the years beyond years of gaming for this type of thing.

No ::bank and also lots of content makes it a unique experience for me. One of the best servers I've played.

unique server in some aspects but similar to every other server by - bias staff, braindead rules, uneducated misinformed decisions created by individuals that can't even put together a logical explanation for their actions

TO be real, not much apart from the advertisement opportunities that were given to Alora to get it known. You can find most of the content on Alora on some random 15 player server.

What sets most servers aside from the others is the community and how the staff handles things and keeps the players coming back.

Alora stands out from the other servers due to the fact that the owner (Omicron) is actually very helpful towards his community, the community themselves are also fun and friendly to chat with. The content for Alora is definitely impressive, all this together just creates a very stable server.

Definitely the ironman mode i really enjoy on this server.
The drops are worth working for and aren't to easy.
Raids is also something that most servers don't have so that's a bonus.
The constant player base and active community.
This and other things is what makes alora different from other servers

I haven't been around much but from the short time I've been here I can see that the community plays a big role deciding on what the next updates will be focused on.

I feel like the players are genuinely heard, you don't get that on most servers.

I have been playing rsps severs for about 7 years and I have always been looking for a server that is most similar to the original osrs. This server is the closest there is out there. And having raids a this moment fully functional is amazing.

As far as I've seen the only thing keeping it afloat is raids.

There are way too many bugs etc.. otherwise.
