Hi guys just a quick poll.

I'm wondering how often would you like to have the Alora Newspaper released? I've decided a Sunday is the best day to get it released just looking to find out how frequently you guys would like it.

Options are as follow;

Every week.

1st & 15th of every month.

1st of every month.

I'm also looking for ways to improve the Newspaper. I'm hoping to add a Behind the Scenes section and I'm open to any other suggestions.

Thanks,

Otto

Hard to say. If we had a couple updates happening every week, then weekly for sure. As it'll be a nice bit of information you'll be able to stick in there. But if nothing happens in a week, no updates / staff updates and such then the newspaper is going to be a little boring.

I guess monthly, seeming the last update did take a long little while, seems like the best option to go for so the newspaper can be full of information.

Don't think you need to force the newspaper to be released certain dates/certain times a month, but rather just post when game & staff updates come.

Rather have an interesting newspaper with interview/behind scene stuff.

I'd just say Sunday whenever you have something worth posting. That being said I think 2 times would be doable, unless smaller updates come or there's less to post about, where you could do once a month.

Similar to @Flipper the newspaper used to be weekly, but considering slowed updates it might be difficult. I think every 2 weeks would be perfect.

Just stop posting it lol, i dont even think much players go reading it.

Its literally just TLDR of small info that happened the past few days/week ect then the interview section is so boring lmao cant even be bothered maybe if it was made in a more entertaining way it would be interesting and something to look forward to read up on.

ex: when ragging was the ''hot'' topic for like 1-2 months straight and super controversial the interview questions could have been made better and more fitting to ask certain pkers on their thoughts about it then ask the raggers themselves on what their thoughts were. Would be more interesting and seeing almost two sides debate.

''pkerman57 what are your thoughts on the no rag rule?''

- Yeah its great i can finally pk for real now. (what they actually mean is ''Yeah its great i can finally non-stop kill skillers without being interrupted.'')

''nsergodnvrlog what are your thoughts on the no rag rule? pkerman57 said he can finally go pking now without you constantly ragging him 40hrs''

- Dumb rule implemented to limit the wilderness and due to slave pkers sounding like cry baby 2 me, 24/7 complaining the staff team gets tired of it so they make rules.

''so youre partially blaming staff for bowing down to pkers tears and cries nsergodnvrlog?''

- Ya we never log and pkers are our slaves. Instead of making rules on rag they should have said ''youre pker and you cry baby about being attacked in wild? l0l just log youre 2 ez fl0rfoo 0lrfl0 fr0l rf0lrf '' then simply 'ignore' any future rag complaints.

''nsergodnvrlog says youre you and your team are his slaves pkerman557 what do you have to say about that?''

- WE ARE NO ONES SLAVES!!111 WE ARE BEST PKERS OUR CLAN #CLAN792 IS THE BEST WE OWN WILD ITS OUR WILDY NO COMPETITION.

*nsergodnvrlog has logged into the interview room*

- flr0flr0flr0flr0flrf??????? you speak like this when god isnt around? god knows everything dont log retard im doing the interviews now and its gonna last for 48 hrs l0o0o0oo00l~!~!~~~

pkerman57 - noooooooo i nooo thats not what i had meant to say i meant youre my god and im slave and this your wild haha4h4 i was only joke im banter haha me and my clan #clan792 bow down 2 u.

It was a short ns only 18mins, pkerman57 goes afk at ;;home two steps west after being cry baby and staff jails nsergodnvrlog for ragging.

1st and 15th of every month in my opinion.

Talk to the Omricon and see what he's doing in regards to updates, Post on the newspaper what he's currently working on so the community can give him feedback.

Other than that I enjoy reading these and am looking forward to the future releases.

I only ever read through the entirety of one and that was the day I joined. It's just very long and drawn out for what's actually covered in it.

I'd say only post it when there are relevant things to cover. Whether that be every week, every two weeks, every 3 days, whatever.

Once a week is too often in my opinion and will put a lot of stress on staff.

Once a month or perhaps on the 1st and 15th would be a good idea.

I would probably just do twice a month and skip if nothing big happened. It's not really worth doing if all you post is the same update log Omicron posted the night before.

It used to be done weekly however with the shortage in the amount of updates from Omicron and the staff updates from blank I was pretty much barred to do it biweekly. However things are looking up. You could keep the 1\15 format and just do side news incase something big happens.

Anyways here you go.

15th and 30th of the month, 15th for 1st half of the month and 30th for 2nd half that way we get most of the information there is to offer.
