TLDR: communicate planned updates, as well as delayed updates.
When I first joined the server, @Omicron was doing this for raids, he was keeping the community up to date with what was being done, and what his plans were for the coming weeks. He built hype around it!
For the last 3 weeks updates have come to a slow, and continue to be pushed back. Omicron and the server would benefit greatly if he communicated better with the player base. With the loss of @
We reached 600+ players regularly, and this was before raids were even out. I believe it was in large part due to strong communication between himself and the community.
Making topics about what he plans on doing with the server, and gaining feedback will also likely inspire him to continue to work hard. I've seen too many servers lose coders and have only the owner coding for the server. It works for a while, but if we want to continue to be a great server and grow together, we need updates to continue at a consistent rate. The player base can remain constant, but the veteran players will lose interest, and there will be a high turnover rate like most servers.
Omicron claimed that updates would happen last week, but they are being pushed to this weekend, the same thing happened the last update. I have no problem waiting for multiple weeks, but it's just not a good practice to not only push updates back, but to also not communicate with the community as to why.
