By making the G.E. the new trading post you could dramatically decrease the amount of players running around in Edgeville. This would be beneficial to people who play on a potato. Edgeville would be the home but whenever you want to buy something you could type ::market and go to the G.E.

The problem is not a lot of people want to go to the GE.

This makes the server look smaller for new players and I would rather just have one hub for everything rather than spreading people out, if people in 2017 have computers that have problems with runescape then it's time for an upgrade.
