  • Araxxor drops will now properly be announced.

Leagues 4.0 Is Officially Live!
Hello everyone,

Leagues 4.0 has begun! You can now log in on a fresh account and select the option in the tutorial to sign it up for Alora Leagues. This has to be on a brand new account (which will be deleted at the end of the tournament on November 20th). We're super excited to hop into this new league with you all! We know that some of you have some questions about the game mode and tournament, so we've compiled a quick FAQ to answer any questions that you may have, as well as the prizes:

Leagues FAQ

• How do I earn points?
  • Points can be earned by completing tasks.
• What can I do with points?
  • At the end of the tournament, points will be transferred to your main account and then they can be spent in the Leagues Reward Shop. This shop includes all of the Trailblazer Reloaded rewards from OSRS (and previous League rewards), including:
    • Leagues Trophies
    • Armageddon rug
    • Armageddon cape fabric
      • Used to change imbued God capes to cosmetic variants
    • Armageddon weapon scroll
      • Used to change Armadyl godsword, Dark bow, Voidwaker, and Volatile nightmare staff to corrupted variants
    • Armageddon teleport scroll
      • Unlocks the Armageddon home teleport animation
• How can I see who has the most points?
  • There is a Scoreboard right at the League player spawn point in Kourend, which will list the top 30 players based on points.
• What is the experience rate?
  • The experience rate is 8x, but increases to 12x once you have selected your tier 4 relic.
    • There are also numerous relics that will effective double your experience in certain skills, so you can get up to 24x potentially if you choose the right relic.
• Can I trade other players?
  • Trading is disabled. You can not trade players at all (or pick up their items), and if you die nobody can loot your items.
    • Drop-trading to main accounts is also not allowed, and items will simply disappear off of the ground if you attempt to do so.
      • This is due to the increased drop rate on League accounts.
• Can I go to Edgeville/Wilderness/Etc?
  • League players are locked to Zeah initially, but can unlock Karamja region at Tier 3, Morytania region at Tier 4, and Desert region at Tier 5. If you are able to escape these areas, you will simply be teleported back home.
• Do I start at level 3?
  • Yes, you will start on a fresh level 3 account and select the option to sign up for Leagues in the tutorial.
    • You will start with level 3 Herblore and level 15 Agility, but all other stats are level 1.
• Will I see other non-league players?
  • You will see normal players as well, but we have instanced a few key dungeons to allow for more space to train. We want to allow players to interact on the same world without splitting the player base.
• Where can I bank?
  • There are numerous banking locations in Zeah, but the most important one will be upstairs in Kourend castle, right next to your home teleport.
• Can I train construction?
  • Certainly! You can purchase a house from the Estate agent south of the Kourend Castle for a reduced rate of 2.5m coins (usually 10m).
  • You can even do Mahogany Homes contracts from Angelo, right next to the Estate Agent.
• Can I train Slayer?
  • You can train Slayer via Konar, who will allow you to start far earlier than normal accounts (only requires level 5 combat). You will only receive tasks that are in regions you’ve unlocked.
    • Player’s who’ve unlocked the Karamja region can obtain non-location based slayer tasks from Duradel.
• Can I donate for items?
  • League players cannot donate for items in the store.
• Can I donate for rank?
  • You may donate to obtain rank benefits, but this is capped at Extreme donator. After this tier, you will no longer obtain the higher rank benefits (eg. Legendary and onwards) to reduce the advantage that donator ranks give. All donator ranks will be auto-transferred to your main account (which you link when you first create your League account) at the end of the tournament.
• Can I transfer bonds, Rank tickets or boosters to my account?
  • You can only transfer Bonds and Rank tickets to your Leagues account.
• Can I use a booster on my account?
  • No, boosters have been disabled on League accounts.
• Can vote books be used on League accounts?
  • You can open vote books on League accounts, but the bonus experience rates are reduced to 25% instead of 50%. The 5% Raids bonus still applies, as does the Slayer point bonus.
  • You must claim the auth directly on the League account, as you cannot transfer vote books from your main.
• Will the Well of Goodwill and other XP boosts work on League accounts?
  • Most experience boosts are disabled for League players, including the Well of Goodwill, Skill of the Day, and other event experience bonuses.
• What happens to my account at the end of the tournament?
  • Your account becomes locked, and you will be kicked out of the game within a few seconds after you log in. Essentially, the account is wiped and can no longer be played on. Your points and donator rank are immediately transferred to your main account.
• When can I spend my points?
  • Points can be spent at the end of the tournament, at 7pm Eastern Time on November 20th, 2024. The shop will continue to be available afterwards, so you can spend them whenever you’d like (or even save points for future League rewards).
• Which regions of the game are available to me?
  • Throughout the league, players will be able to access the Kourend/Varlamore, Karamja, Desert, and Morytania regions of the game.
  • At Tier 1, players will only have Kourend/Varlamore unlocked.
  • At Tier 3, players gain access to the Karamja region.
  • At Tier 4, players gain access to the Morytania region.
  • At Tier 5, players gain access to the Desert region.
• Which areas are instanced?
  • The following dungeons are instanced and can be entered by using the 2nd right-click option (Enter Leagues Instance):
    • Forthos dungeon
    • Catacombs of Kourend
    • Lizardman Caves
• What relics (perks) are available?
  • You can only select 1 relic from every tier:
    • Tier 1 (0 points)
      • Trickster
        • Players given Sage's greaves, which grant 2/3rds of the player's Agility level as experience whilst running, every 10 ticks.
        • Pickpocketed loot is doubled and converted to bank notes, and box traps provide double loot/experience.
        • Players can burn multiple logs per action (up to nine), providing there is space to do so, and will never fail actions for Thieving and Hunter.
        • Re-pickpocket an NPC for up to 5 minutes.
      • Production Prodigy
        • Crafting, Smithing, Herblore, Fletching and Cooking are boosted by +12.
        • All inventory items are processed at once when doing a wide variety of skilling activities.
        • There is a 25% chance that players will make an extra product, which will be sent to the bank if there is space.
    • Tier 2 (500 points) (+Access to Dramen staff)
      • Hardcore Harvester
        • 3x the usual amount of resources from Mining, Fishing, Woodcutting, harvesting herbs and farming contracts.
        • 3x the Molch pearls from Aerial fishing.
        • Farming patches will grow 5x as quickly.
        • Additional resources grant experience.
      • Banker's Note
        • Players are given a banker's note which allows them to use note-able items on it to turn them into banknotes or unnote them.
        • The "Activate" option allows players to note and un-note items in one action with a quantity of the player's choosing. An item must first be used on the banker's note in order for this to work.
    • Tier 3 (1,750 points) (+Karamja Region Unlock, Minigame points increase 3x)
      • Eye of the Artisan
        • Players receive double the usual amount of experience in Smithing, Cooking, Firemaking, Herblore, Fletching, Crafting and Construction.
      • Gift of the Gatherer
        • Players receive double the usual amount of experience in Mining, Fishing, Woodcutting, Hunter, Thieving, Farming, and Runecraft.
      • Way of the Warrior
        • Players receive double the usual amount of experience in Attack, Strength, Defence, Hitpoints, Magic, Ranged and Prayer.
        • The rate at which a player's prayer is drained is halved.
    • Tier 4 (4,000 points) (+Experience rates increases to 12x)
      • Brawler's Resolve
        • Melee weapons with an attack speed above 4 (2.4 seconds) will have it halved (the delay between hits), rounded down.
        • Melee weapons with an attack speed below 3 (1.8 seconds) will have it halved, rounded up.
        • The player's melee accuracy, as well as melee, ranged and magic defence are increased by 50%.
        • Successful hits have a 10% chance to deal double damage.
        • Players will save 90% of the charges they use on applicable melee weapons.
      • Archer's Embrace:
        • Ranged weapons with an attack speed above 4 (2.4 seconds) will have it halved (the delay between hits), rounded down.
        • Ranged weapons with an attack speed below 3 (1.8 seconds) will have it halved, rounded up.
        • The player's ranged accuracy is doubled.
        • Players will save 90% of the ammunition they use on ranged weapons.
        • Enchanted bolts have a doubled chance to activate.
      • Superior Sorcerer:
        • Magic weapons have an attack speed of 2 (1.2 seconds)
        • Player's magic accuracy and damage are increased by 175% and 20%, respectively.
        • Prayers will save 90% of the runes they use when casting spells, including charges from powered staves.
        • Players will be given a Rune pouch/Arcane grimoire.
    • Tier 5 (8,000 points) (+Desert Region Unlock)
      • Farmer's Fortune
        • Players will have a 20% chance to save the seed or sapling that was planted.
        • Farming patches will grow instantly.
        • Players will harvest farming patches x25 faster, giving triple the usual yield and turning them into bank notes. This stacks with Hardcore Harvester.
      • Treasure Seeker
        • Clue scrolls have a 1/15 chance of dropping from NPCs/Implings.
        • Rate of obtaining clue vessels are increased by 10x.
        • Clue scrolls have the lowest possible amount of steps and max amount of reward rolls.
        • Chance to receive another reward casket of the same tier when opening a casket, with a chance for bonus casket to be upgraded to a tier higher.
      • Arcane Selection
        • All supply crates from Wintertodt, as well as resources gathered from mining, fishing, woodcutting, farming and the blast mine are automatically sent to the bank.
        • Players can now choose which farming contract and slayer assignment they would like.
    • Tier 6 (13,000 points) (+2.23x Drop rate increase to 2.23x, Minigame points increase 5x)
      • Berserker
        • Damage dealt is increased by 0.4% for each hitpoint missing.
        • The player is guaranteed to hit their max hit on an NPC with full health.
      • Weapon Specialist
        • All attacks have 15% increased accuracy and damage.
        • Special attack energy regenerates at a rate of 30% every 30 seconds rather than 10%.
        • Special attacks that cost 25% or more energy will only cost 20% instead.
        • Special attacks always result in a successful hit against NPCs, and the minimum damage dealt is increased from 0 to 20% of the player's max hit.
      • Soul Stealer
        • Minimum hit increased by 10%. For example, a damage roll of 0-50 is now 5-50.
        • Upon a succesful hit, there is a 50% chance the player's Hitpoints and Prayer points are restored by 10% of the damage dealt, rounded up.
        • The restoration effect excludes multi-target attacks and special attacks.
    • Tier 7 (22,000 points) (+Experience rate increase to 16x)
      • Equilibrium
        • Each time the player gains experience, they gain additional exp equal to 100% of the player's total level across all skills, in the skill trained.
        • Additional experience gven by this relic is not multiplied by the Leagues XP multiplier.
        • If chosen with Production Prodigy, each item processed will trigger this effect.
      • Undying Retribution
        • Upon death, HP/Prayer are fully restored, damaging all enemies in a 7x7 area, dealing up to 200% of the player's prayer level.
        • 3 minute cooldown between uses, which is removed when the player actually dies.
        • Dying with the effect active will not count towards death penalties in raids.
      • Executioner
        • Players are given the Sage's axe, which allows them to instantly kill targets who have less than 15% of their HP remaining.
        • The axe's attack range is 5 tiles (7 tiles on longrange).

 
 
 

 
In other news, we’ve got a lot of fresh content for you aside from the Leagues launch, including Araxxor! Those who can survive this venomous boss’s attacks will be able to obtain the Noxious halberd and the Amulet of rancour, as well as a new pet! Aside from these, we’ve got a number of QoL and bug fixes with this release, including a large timer increase for items lost on death, allowing you more time to get your items back before they go public, and also many mobile fixes to smooth out our Mobile 2.0 release. Lastly, our Halloween event is finally live! Make sure to get your Halloween rewards before it’s too late.

• Halloween Event:
  • Marika has converted the Falador cabbage field to a lovely Pumpkin patch, with a colorful image of a cat. However, due to the crows pecking around and moving the seeds, some of the pumpkins came out the wrong color.
  • Using a picture map of the field that depicts how it is supposed to look, help Marika remove the incorrect pumpkins and plant the correct colors, and you’ll be rewarded with:
    • Carved Pumpkin Head (63 unique versions)
    • Halloween scarecrow (house decoration with 125 styles)
    • Scarecrow shirt

• Morytania Spider Cave:
  • The Morytania spider cave is full of Araxyte’s, which require level 92 slayer to kill.
    • These Araxytes drop the Aranea boots, a new set of boots which provides special protection against various spider bosses, such as Araxxor, Verzik Vitur, Venenatis/Spindel, and Sarachnis.
      • The negation effect of these boots can be used every 8 ticks (4.8 seconds).
      • Sarachnis:
        • Avoid the sticky webs.
      • Verzik Vitur:
        • Avoid the phase 3 damage from snapping webs.
      • Venenatis/Spindel:
        • Avoid the initial drain of the draining web attack.
      • Araxxor:
        • Avoid damage from the enrage phase Cleave attack.
        • Avoid damage from the range auto-attack.
        • These boots offer no protection from the poison pools.
    • They also drop the Araxyte head, an item used on a slayer helmet to create the Araxyte slayer helmet.
      • This ability must be unlocked from a slayer master.
    • There is a regular area and task-only area to kill Araxytes.
  • Araxxor:
    • Players can now take on Araxxor, a new spider boss, in the spider cave in Morytania.
    • Araxxor, similar to Araxytes, requires level 92 slayer to fight.
      • Players must take on Araxxor and the various types or araxytes that he spawns during the fight.
        • Araxxor primarily uses melee if the player is in range, but will also use mage/range if the player is not within melee distance.
      • Every 6 attacks, Araxxor will use one of 3 special attacks, determined by the color of the egg in the south-east corner of the room.
        • This is the special attack it will use for the entire fight.
      • At 25% hitpoints, Araxxor will become enraged, and will replace its melee attack with a new one which attacks every 4 game ticks, rather than 6.
        • This attack will spread venom near the player’s location, damaging them if they’re on one of the 3 affected tiles.
          • Players can run under Araxxor with good timing so that Araxxor poisons a tile beneath it, which will result in Araxxor taking 8-12 damage.
    • Rewards:
      • Araxxor Fang:
        • This can be used on an Amulet of Torture to upgrade it to the Amulet of Rancour.
          • The Amulet of Rancour can be used on the man in the Morytania spider cave to recolour it. (Full Collection Log entry for Araxxor must be completed)
      • Noxious Halberd:
        • Players can create a noxious halberd by collecting the 3 components required to build it.
          • Once players have obtained the Noxious Pommel, Point, and Blade, they can combine them to create the Noxious Halberd.
            • Similar to with Abyssal Sire’s bludgeon, players will gain these items in order, not randomly.
        • This is a 2-handed polearm requiring level 80 Attack to equip, and has a special attack which can cure the user of Venom, and buff the next attack slightly.
      • Nid:
        • This is the Araxxor pet, which players can obtain by harvesting or destroying Araxxor’s corpse.
          • Destroying the corpse will give players a higher chance of getting the pet, but will not give any loot except for Clue scrolls and Coagulated venom.
        • Players who defeat Araxxor in less than 1 minute and 16 seconds will obtain Coagulated Venom, which can be used to morph Nid into a new pet, Rax.
      • Jar of Venom:
        • This works like most other boss jars; it can be used to display Araxxor in a player’s Display case in their player-owned house.
    • 12 new Combat achievements were added for Araxxor.
• Off-hand items:
  • The imcando hammer, Amy’s Saw, and Bruma torch now have off-hand variants that can be equipped in the shield slot.
    • To do so, players can right-click “swap” on the item to switch it to the main hand/off-hand variant.
      • This can also be done while the item is equipped, but only if the slot the item will go to is free.
• Armoured Zombies:
  • Players can now enter Zemouregal’s Base through a trap door east of the Varrock lumber mill.
    • In this base there are many mid-level Armoured Zombies that attack with ranged and melee.
      • These zombies drop a Broken Zombie axe, which can be repaired at level 70 smithing.
        • The Zombie axe requires level 65 attack to wield, and is an extremely strong crush weapon.
• Charter Ships:
  • Players can now travel all around Gielinor using the charter ship system.
    • To do so, speak to a trade crewmember at most ports.
      • There are a total of 15 different port locations players can sail to, free of charge.
• Disable level-up setting:
  • There is now a setting to disable the level-up chatbox interface.
    • This will still show a chatbox message.
• Despawn Timer Changes:
  • Players now have a minimum of 20 minutes before their items will appear to all players after dying.
    • This is an increase from the previous 2 minutes regular players had.
    • Donators will have increased time:
      • Donators: 25 minutes before public
      • Super Donators: 30 minutes before public
      • Extreme Donators: 35 minutes before public
      • Legendary Donators: 40 minutes before public
      • Uber Donators: 45 minutes before public
      • Master Donators: 50 minutes before public
      • Immortal Donators: 55 minutes before public
      • Eternal Donators: 60 minutes before public
  • The timers for ultimate ironmen are unchanged.
• Slayer Shop Additions:
  • Revenenenenenants:
    • Players can now pay 100 slayer points to extend the number of assigned Revenants from a slayer task to 100-150.
  • More Eyes than Sense:
    • Players can now pay 150 slayer points to extend the number of assigned Araxytes from a slayer task to 200-250.
  • Eye See You:
    • Players can now pay 500 slayer points to learn how to attach the Araxyte Head onto a slayer helmet to make an Araxyte Slayer Helmet.
      • This can be stored in the POH costume room, along with the other slayer helmet variants.
• Quality of Life:
  • In your POH, when your Servant fetches items from your bank, it will no longer block your chatbox.
    • The first dialogue will show with a continue button so you can close it, and then you will get a normal chatbox message to let you know how much longer you need to wait once every 10 seconds, as well as a final indicator when there are 5 seconds remaining.
  • Players can now dragonstone bracelets/amulets/rings from elite clue scroll caskets.
  • The Dark Core mechanic has been removed from Corporeal Beast’s mechanics.
  • Herbiboar herbs will now automatically be deposited into a player's open herb sack if they have one in their inventory.
  • Reverted the change that removed Sarachnis web skipping when equipping transformation items.
  • Players can now store the dragon scimitar (or) in their treasure chest (elite).
  • The Granite maul (or) and Kraken tentacle no longer require level 35 crafting to make.
  • The Rainbow flower crown is now tradable.
  • Players will now be told how many perfect kills they have done while in the instance when killing DT2 bosses.
  • Players can now use a blowpipe with mithril darts for the Unconventional combat achievement.
  • Players will now only get clue nests from redwood trees.
  • Depositing equipment will now empty the log basket as well.
  • The “Deposit looting bag” option on the deposit box interface will now deposit fish/logs from a players log basket and fish sack/barrel.
  • The cost of extracts in the scar essence mine have been reduced by 25%.
  • The lost item manager is now located in Edgeville bank.
  • The lost item manager will now remove coins from the players bank if they don't have any in their inventory.
  • The Ground items plugin will now more accurately show the despawn timers of items if the player went to a location when the item was already on the ground.
  • Freeze distance checks will now happen on an npc's nearest tile rather than the center tile.
• Bug Fixes:
  • The Spooky / Spookier hoods from past Halloween events (and the store) will now fully cover your face, so your mouth does not poke through.
  • Fixed a bug with the Mahogany Homes Plugin not working.
  • Items that combine multiple valuable tradable items (such as the elidinis’ ward (f)) will now be valued at the combined value of both of their components, if both components are tradable and lost on death.
  • Catching butterflies while having a Magic butterfly net and an empty jar in your inventory will now fill the jar so you don’t get duplicate empty jars.
  • Fixed a bug where equipping an item in the shield slot would mess up the combat style interface.
  • The blessed saradomin sword can now be reverted.
  • Players can now cast bloom with the silver sickle (   in their inventory.
  • Checking spellbook swap uses on your spellbook will now properly show the number of uses left.
  • Adding more than 400 friends should now work correctly (previously would tell you your friends list was full but still add the name).
  • Fixed a bug where players would need a rune pouch in their inventory for the preset plugin to properly set their quiver slot.

  • Fixed a bug where pets would disappear after leaving the Kraken instance.
  • The frogs that were hanging out with the turoths have been sent home.
  • Fixed a bug where some heavy ranged weapons were not being recognized as heavy.
  • The scorching bow is now 1 game tick faster.
  • Fixed a bug with the rapid reload task not requiring 4 hits rather than 3.
  • The amulet of the eye will now be added to the collection log when obtained.
• Mobile:
  • Improvements:
    • Performance has been improved at the upper end (eg. When your FPS limit is > 50fps). This will lead to less battery drain and less device heat.
    • When you have an overlay open in the top left corner (eg. Clue scroll helper), your PMs / broadcasts will be moved to the right so you can see them more easily. (Applies to Landscape mode)
    • A share button has been added to the login screen.
    • The welcome banner when you start the client will no longer appear if you have already logged in and played the game.
    • Zooming in/out at higher than 50FPS will now feel much smoother.
  • Bug fixes:
    • Single-tap function should now work properly.
    • Fixed a bug that would not immediately show your PMs after sending them.
    • On Androids, opening/closing the keyboard will no longer resize your client. This fixes a bug on Vivaldi browser which caused the client to be in weird, unplayable dimensions after closing the keyboard.
    • Rotating your phone with the keyboard open will now close the keyboard.
    • Flickering issue (parts of the screen going missing, especially on Androids, usually when zoomed in) has been fixed.
    • Teleporting to a new area will no longer draw the sky color for a few frames before showing the new area.
    • It will now be easier to open a context menu without it closing after you lift your finger.
    • Certain overlays/interfaces that previously would not update properly (eg. HP overlays for Blast mine) will now work as intended.

  • Fixed a bug with the Perfect Araxxor 2 combat achievement not working properly.
  • The Mirrorback/Acidid araxytes can now path through/under each other.
  • Fixed a bug with decanting extended anti-venom+ potions.
  • Fixed a bug where Nid was not on Araxxor's standard drop table, and could only be obtained from destroying the corpse.
  • Fixed a bug where some default clothing was making player’s body parts invisible.
  • Fixed a bug where the “wear” option was not being properly prioritized in the bank “show worn item” interface.
  • Fixed a bug where some player/npc options would sometimes we interactable through the chatbox.
  • Fixed a bug with the group storage button not working on mobile.
  • Added a search function to the leagues task interface.
  • Removed an estate agent spawn near Hosidius that shouldn't have been there.
  • Players will now have 1 extra game tick to complete the Rapid Succession combat achievement.
  • Fixed an issue where the quetzal transport was not working.
  • Fixed a bug with the beige pumpkin not properly changing styles/colors.
    • Any players with affected pumpkins will have them automatically fixed.
  • League players will now be able to obtain all Soulreaper Axe pieces from any DT2 boss.
    • Players will receive the next unique piece to make the axe if they land on the drop table.
  • The Sage's Greaves will no longer provide agility experience to players who are not actively playing the game.
  • The leagues task interface will no longer close when gaining experience or in combat.
  • The Bob npc has been added in Kourend for league players to repair barrows equipment.
  • League account items will now despawn 60 minutes after dying.
  • Fixed a bug with the "Receive a task from Duradel" league task not completing.
  • NPC Chat messages will no longer appear in the chatbox from any npc’s other than Nex.
  • Fixed a bug with how ranged strength calculations were being made when a quiver was in use.
  • Dragon implings now give 3 noted dragonstones instead of 1.
  • The tier 1/2/3 twisted outfits can now be stored in the POH armour case.
  • Guardian fragments will no longer get sent to a player's bank if using the Arcane courier relic.
  • Players with the Berserker relic can now splash if their magic bonus is -65 or less.
  • Fixed a bug with the item stats overlay plugin.
  • Fixed a bug where redwood trees would still give regular bird nests.
  • Fixed a bug where League players would not properly be teleported into the final arena with sol heredit.
  • Players can now store the pumpkin and scarecrow shirt in their POH Toy box.
  • The traded value of noted items will now match the un-noted item value.
  • Every charter ship location that players can sail to will now have it's own unique stock.
    • Previously most of these shops shared 1 stock.
