As we wrap up 2020 (or have already entered 2021 for some of us), we'd like to wish you all the best for this upcoming year. It has certainly been a year filled with ups and downs, but we're confident that 2021 has a more exciting and prosperous year in store for all of us. League Finalists

 

Today marks the end of our League competition! We've had an exciting first League event, and we are very content with the way that it has turned out. We now have the foundation for future League tournaments, so we will be back with another sometime this year. It was a close competition for some of our finalists, and we've seen the League highscores change many times over the past few months, but as of today here are the final top 10 finalists, with the top 5 being eligible prize winners:

League Extension

 

Due to popular demand, we've also decided to extend the League game mode for an extra 7 days to allow players to accumulate more points, that can then be spent in the League store in-game on your main account. Although the tournament has concluded and there are no more prizes to be won, you can still log into your account and continue to play for another 7 days before it becomes locked.

 

Leagues will officially end on January 7th, at 11:59pm EST.

Never thought I’d be leaving this server by my own decision, but here it is!
My daughter was born on Tuesday morning at 5:59am and suddenly everything fell into perspective for me. I feel my free time could be spent more responsibly now that I have a little girl relying on me.

When I joined Alora back in late 2016 I never thought for a second it’d still have me coming back 4 long years later. I quickly grew attached to the gameplay and most of all the great community that came along with it.


In no specific order these are just a few legends I’ve had the pleasure of meeting during my 4 years as a part of this community.

What is your suggestion?: Adding a new forum award for completing all collection logs for wildy bosses. With there already being 4 completed collection log awards, another would be cool.

Well I should pretty much get to the point instead of beating around the coincidently holiday decorated bush....but i'm not! Anyways! Similarly to the other annual giveaways i've been hosting for I think pretty much my entire time here on Alora, save for the 1st year...I think?, there's going to be an special requirement that'll act as a ticket for participation

 

           *This year's holiday requirement is RED, so any item that's red colored. Ex: Dragon armor, Santa hat, Zamorak d'hide, etc.

                             -As long as I can see it on your character, your good! 

 

                    *So no items in the ring slot or arrow slot cause no one can see that on your character

 

Rounds:

• ​As usual, there will be 14 separate rounds of either racing or HNS (Racing basically "First to (location)" )

                       Upon finding Santa Ankou at various locations around Alora, participants must trade to secure the win. Then they must say whether they've been either "Naughty" or                    "Nice" so that they can be rewarded 

        

          (Please note that saying "Naughty" or "Nice" will not guarantee a 'nice' item for saying "Nice" and vice verse for saying "Naughty")

• Each Participant can win up to 2 times for the duration of the 14 rounds

 

• Leftover rewards will be given a second thought as to whether or not they'll be given away or simply be stored for future giveaways

 

 

This years possible winnings:

 

 

(Left side: "Nice" gifts, Right side: "Naughty" gifts)

 

Note: Invent WILL be shuffled with 1 item from each side

And yes, that is 100k coal >:3

I was absolutely shocked when I saw the "WARNING ..PROBITA" Etc message, all the grind finally paid off for my top 5 fav pet & it gotten here sooner then I thought !
Up to this point i used 30-35 pet boosters from 200 KC & obtained about 5200 wines of zamorak and alot of uncut gems other then that the drops weren't too resourceful I'm just happy to be out of that grind and have my most coveted pet

It feels like it was just yesterday that I was posting about reaching 6 months as an admin/event manager for Alora. And now here we are, 6 months later for the official 1 year date. Time really flies during the corona quarantine, hope everyone has been safe & unaffected by it. I guess first of all I would just like to thank the boys @Omicron & @Lowkey for never giving up on me in the beginning, as if they did I would have never reached this far with Alora.

I'm not going to sit here and make you guys read the same speech from last time so, I LOVE THE COMMUNITY, I'm happy to be hosting events, and I'm very happy to be here for all the POG content Dan releases like Leagues. I've been blessed to be more then just your event manager, Dan has given me some responsibilities in advertising and I'm grateful for that. Another cool fun fact, I've hosted over 200 tournaments in that year!



Anyway brothers and sisters, I'm not going to tag everyone as the people who are close to me & who've helped me along the way, know who they are. I'm very blessed to be where I'm at, and I'm very grateful for the community that's always supporting me at the events.

What is your suggestion?: Adding Sarachnis to boss tasks or a way to receive spider tasks to be used as a alternative.

Is this in OSRS?: Yes

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

How would this benefit Alora?: I understand spider tasks can only be given out by "easy" slayer masters or wildy master, but since that alternative is not available could we find a way to include this alternative to our current slayer tasks to help make killing Sarachnis with slayer perks.

 

Simplest method would just be to add it to the boss tasks list.

Adding spider tasks can be possible too since there are lots of alternative for this, also providing a larger kc to take to sarachnis.

What is your suggestion?:Add bone crossbow and bone bolts in ironman store for a starter range weapon. At the moment we don't have much to start with other than smithing knives or fletching magic shortbow / rune crossbow.

Is this in OSRS?:Yes its obtainable for ironmen in osrs after finishing a quest

How would this benefit Alora?:Allow ironmen a decent starter range weapon.

What is your suggestion?:Please for love of all that is saradomin, allow instanced WT when you release the minigame.

Is this in OSRS?:No, but its not hard to find a world on OSRS to solo on.

How would this benefit Alora?:Soloing WT is much better than doing mass WT on OSRS, not only that but I enjoy it better as you're not rushing to get 500 points in 10 seconds.

What is your suggestion?: At the moment the hiscores work off the registration date even though you get some skill first 200m someone who gets it after you will be placed above you, because of he has made the account before.  I suggest that it  works the way that whoever gets it first will be 1st.

Is this in OSRS?: Yes

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: Not that I know.

How would this benefit Alora?: Better hiscore system and someone who grinds for hiscores doesn't get their spot taken because of the current system.

 

 

 

What is your suggestion?: Add option sell all to the Ironman supplies right now you can sell 250 at the time and it takes year to sell 1m essences there for some extra cash.
