From what i've seen since raids have been out is that less and less people are going and doing raids daily. In my opinion this is due to a lack of drops. Personally I have done about 70 raids and have only had one drop in my name. That was at about 10 kc. I think raid drops should go back to how they were dropping before the very first patch which made drops a lot more rare. Yes this will obviously make prices go down but prices don't matter if there aren't enough items coming into the game. Also increasing the drop rate and people getting more drops will encourage them to keep doing raids and maybe raids will be a little more active.

maybe a little more nerfed then day one because i saw multiple double drops but i agree we need to see some more items coming into game 80 raids and iv made 0gp. its actualy becoming a challenge to find a 7 man team to run raids with so even less items will come into the game. people are burnt out of raids and how dry they are.

I agree. No-one really bothers anymore because you have to spend dozens of hours grinding to get a single drop, which usually isn't really worth much.

yeah i agree with that, definitely saw teams getting like 2-4 drops per raid but we forsure need more drops

I disagree and agree. I'm not really sure on a reasonable solution. I'll keep an eye on this thread. Chances are I'll update with a more formulated post.

I suggested 1m per raid completed, but then it could be abused with tons of alts/leachers. It would also inflate the market, and not be similar to osrs at all if we did that.

Omicron could add a chance at hard caskets for completing raids or something (would encourage donors) and he could make it so you only get a pct chance on casket if you have x pct of points gathered by the team.
Doing this would prevent level 3 leachers (you would need more than 2.5k pts as to prevent someone from afk fishing at olm room.

Possibly only give 1m cash, or better loot to the top 2 performing members of a 7man, etc. (random ideas)

Raids are meant to be fun, with a chance at some really cool and rare items, so I'm not really complaining.

Agree with you, tought raids drops were good as they are but some ppl are on 100 dry, i think it wold be good for the drop rate to be increased.

I definitely agree, it's really not worth spending 20-25 minutes each game for herbs & gems.

I support this so long as Corporeal Beast drop rates get looked at first.

I mean if anything make a minimum cash (gold). So if you get 3,000 gold per point and up with 2000 points you'd walk away with 6M.

Obviously it should be less than 3,000 gold per pt. Even if it was 1,000 gp per point - if you die a couple of times you'll usually end around 2,000 points which would equate to 2M GP.

I would do raids for 2M GP if it was guaranteed. Considering (if you're not in a clan) it will take a decent group around 25 minutes average to complete, with a 1,000 gold per pt ratio you'd only be making 2-3M depending on how well you/group did.

Could even be less than 1,0000 - I know some people end up with 6K pts and 6M per raid would be too much cash coming into the game.

But as it stands, thieving is better cash per hour. If it takes 100 Raids to get an item (let's say a prayer scroll) you could sell that for probably 80M. 100 Raids (fastest POSSIBLE if CONSISTENT @ 17 minute raids) would equate to 28 hours to get to 100 KC.

The normal raid team does raids in 25 minutes, which equates to 41 almost 42 hours to complete 100 Raids. If the drop rates are this low, and lets say you get a Prayer Scroll after 100 KC... you sell it for 80M but it still took you 42 hours to get to that KC.

Thieving for 42 hours would get you roughly 300-350M depending how focused you were. See what I'm saying?

Plus - it takes time to form raids, wait for teams to get ready/supplied up before you're even raiding.

Point is - there are a LOT of better cash/per hour methods that is GAURENTEED, and other bosses that drop way more consistently than raid chests that are whole lot easier to kill.

RAIDS are fun, social, etc --> but right now it's hard to want to do them. I've only done 4 myself and would get better cash/hour (not including rare drops) from Zulrah or thieving and seeing how many people HAVEN'T gotten drops in days or are 50-100 dry makes it very un-motivating. As the person above this post said - 20-25 Minutes for runes, herbs, and stuff that you don't personally need and won't even sell is very unsettling.
