What is your suggestion?: Add a new tab to the TP to allow people to advertise high value items for sale

Ok so im not sure if this is even possible, but thought id throw this out there anyway, just incase it is. The TP is only able to accomodate items that sell for max cash or less, this means that players wanting to sell items such as twisted bows/scythes/shadows etc, have to rely on yell/discord/foruns to alert players to the fact they have these items for sale. If its possible, a new section on the TP that allows us to input an item we are wanting to sell and for how much would allow people to easily advertise their high value items, and would provide an easy way for buyers to see what is for sale at any given time and then can PM the player who has listed the item.

 

If this is a possibility, you could even go one step further and turn this into a mini gold sink by charging a fee per listing with each listing lasting a set number of days.

SUPPORT    It is really annoying trying to buy more high dollar items having to wait for said person to log on to actually sell you the item and instead they could just list it for whatever price and see who is intrested on there own time

Sounds like a no-brainer, TP should be able to accommodate selling any item at any price.

Support. I could see the TP being a bit too taxing but this would still give the players the option and allow them to receive PMs about said item.

Yes, we need this to prevent all the spams in yell every minute about buying/selling certain items.

Also we should be able to post items for sale with higher price than 2147m, as example you can put a Tumeken's Shadow for sale in tp for 7000k platinum tokens.

this would also be good data if people could have [item name] [quantity] [price] [timezone] in the offer so regardless of whats listed on the trading post itll be a healthy indicator for what things are going for/desired at

have it so only 1 account per mac address can leave advertisements to prevent flooding of alts/price manipulation

Although I support this idea, I feel like it’s only okay because we are avoiding the real issue. I think the tp should recognize platinum tokens and use it as a form of currency mixed with gp, that way people could not just advertise but actually sell their high end items on the tp.

Yeah TP taking plat tokens would be the ideal solution here but i doubt it ever will, so this is a nice middle ground :)

for sure i would prefer tp to use plat tokkens as variant said,so we could list more expensives items,

 

but if its not happenning your suggestion seems to be a good way also to know who is selling what :)

I definitely support this idea. But I also support what variant said. I think any items that are high ticket items (1b+) should be listed for platinum tokens instead of GP.
